I had been recieving multiple calls a day from a number that would appear as "Unknown" on the caller ID. I never answer these calls. I finally became upset at the number of calls from this Unknown source and I finally answered. A man named "Steve Jones" asked for me, but I said "She is not home" Can I take a message"? (ha ha) He says yes. "Tell her that there is a Law suit being filed against her and that she needs to call me back ASAP and also if she doesn't pay the fines immeadiatly, she will be arrested!! I said, "Where are you calling from"? He says "Excel Law Group" in California. I said "Hmm" Very Interesting", and he says "Why do you say that"? I said " Because usually a "Professional" law firm will send a letter to the respondent, with all information regarding the suit! He became a little unsure of himself at that point, and says "Just tell her to call me ASAP" and he gave me a number of (951) 668-2721, which is almost like others left on my message machine. This is clearly a scam, because no information of the situation, or how the law was broken and why I am being sued. I looked on the internet and guess what!? This so called "Steve Jones" has already been reported. Among many other names that work for this Excel Law Group! and the funny thing is, is that this guy has an accent from the UK. In which many scammers are from there. Now, he or they will tell you that you will be arrested to scare you into paying a so called fine, that does not exist. Be careful! Do NOT fall for it! We all need to come together to put a stop to these poor excuses for human beings, who are hurting innocent people. Stealing identity, emptying out bank accounts from people that have worked very hard for their money, and so on.
