Hud Foreclosed Homes They refused to sell us a home and I believe it was because we were not a minority. Minneapolis, Minnesota

We saw a home we liked. So we put in an offer in the auction. The owner of the home was HUD. At first, they accepted our offer. Then, after a month of changing the terms of the sale, changing the rules on us, telling us different conflicting things, and demanding different amounts of money that they should have just asked for at the beginning, they made us rewite our offer, claiming we had turned in the offer late, which was not true. Meanwhile, they reposted the house on EDINA REALTY'S website. We had basically won the house in an online auction, and they went and RELISTED IT ONLINE FOR OTHERS TO MAKE BIDS ON? Not to mention, we never got the home. We won a house in an auction, and never got it!!! IMAGINE THAT! We were qualified and pre-approved and ready to buy it, yet they didn't want to sell it to us!

Seems truely shady. Is this type of thing even legal? An HUD of all places doing something like that? I think they didn't want to sell us the home after they discovered that we were caucasian, as they don't like white people.
