On 12/18/08 I placed a special order for a Spiral Assembly for my snowthrower. Because it was a special order, I had to pay for the part and shipping up front. The guy at the counter explained that right is left, and left is right according to how you stand in front of the snowthrower. Not interested in how he derives at left to right, etc I showed him on the owners manual a picture of which side I needed. When the part arrived, it was the wrong part. I reordered the part from a differnt counter person the next day. When it arrived they called me and the origional counter person said, "now you want the other side"? I replied that he ordered the wrong part and that it was not my fault. He totally disregarded what I said and charged me an additional $21.05 for return shipping and restocking fee. (I have the slip) He should have been man enough to admit he made the mistake. I will never do business with this company again. You make you're own decision.

There was a reason he was trying to help you but you were 'Not interested in how he derives at left to right'
So, 'I showed him on the owners manual a picture of which side I needed.' and that is what was ordered. Now it's somehow their fault?

You are so correct! I DID show him what to order. I even pointed at a display model so he could see which side of the Spiral Assembly I wanted. He even went as far as writting down the (wrong) part number on my owners manual. He still screwed it up! What more do you want? In my opinion you are less than honest in this transaction and I hope others will see this to form their own opinion.
