I invented a kitchen product and received a patent from the U.S. patent and trademark office. I wanted to get a license agreement and start to receive royalties. I mailed Matt Yubas two products and he loved them. He said they would be asy to find a buyer and in fact he had a friend with bed, bath and beyond who could help. He told me he showed the product to the store and they loved it.

Then he started to ask for more money. He came up with more excuses. He would say I only paid for only a product review. Then I sent him more money and he would say I had to send more because I only paid for a limited service. That means whe would only solicit a few companies. I guess stamps cost a lot in Texas. Then he said he was going to take my product to the Chicago trade show and he wanted me to pay for his air fare and hotel. I said hell no! He then told me to have a professional photog take pictures and and mail them to him. At another $500 dollars expense I sent him the pictures.

He never went to the trade show from what I could tell. I told him to mail me a ticket from the airlines or an entrance pass to the trade show. Of course he never showed me proof that he attended any event. He would only say that no one was interested in my product.

I recently found a company to license my product, but I want the World to know how bad this man is. He uses inventors like atm machines. Has Matt Yubas ever landed anyone a deal? I do not know but I have never had anyone tell me he was any good at producing more then lip service. You can do better with LUCKY NAPKIN COMPANY. They help and they are honest. It took me three years to find some of the most wonderful people that care and honestly try to help inventors. All inventors should go to the "Lucky Napkin" for help and never do business with Matt Yubas. I want my money back Yubas!!!

All Services Were Performed for the Inventor

AUTHOR: John Harris - San Diego (U.S.A.)

The inventor Richard was a client of Mr. Yubas. All services were performed. All fees were clearly stated and publicly listed on the ProductCoach.com website.

All was fine for many months and he recommended Mr. Yubas to others. He wrote, “Dear Matt, I love your book and web site it is a great resource. I have recommended you to a friend and she will be calling to speak with you soon.”

Richard paid for a coaching meeting that was held, for a product proposal that was written, and a search for companies to sell or license his product that was performed.

Richard has a good product, but there was no guarantee that a company would be interested during that period. Often, timing plays an essential ingredient in getting a deal. Several companies were contacted and discussions were held with key people. At that time companies were busy with Christmas holiday activities, and preparing for the big annual Housewares show.

To show off his product he needed good photos. He took snapshots that were not good quality. Mr. Yubas suggested he hire his own local professional photographer, which he did. This was NOT a fee he paid to Mr. Yubas.

Mr. Yubas went to the Housewares show in Chicago in March 2008 at his own expense. Another client of Mr. Yubas was also at the show. Instead of going to Chicago where the main buyers for his product were exhibiting, Richard went to Arizona to attend a seminar by a group called Lucky Napkin.

Just before the event he wrote to Mr. Yubas to refer his services: “Good Morning Matt, If you want to send me a stack of your business cards I will bring them to the conference in Arizona and leave them in the hotel. There will be many people looking for services that you provide and you can make a few new customers.”

After the Arizona conference, Richard told Mr. Yubas he showed his product to this group in hopes they would take it on. But they were not interested in his product. He wrote, “I struck out in Phoenix. They liked the product in a polite way but would not invest in the idea.”

At the same time, there was no definite interest from the buyers at the Chicago Housewares show. Mr. Yubas said to Richard that to continue searching for companies there would be an additional fee because the original search was completed. Richard then got very upset and disgruntled taking his frustrations out on Mr. Yubas with posts like this.

There had been a good working relationship for several months. But when companies rejected his product Richard took it personally. We truly hope that he gets his product into the market.

Sincerely,

John Harris
Assistant to Mr. Yubas
