US Title Pawn They are charging me with a late fee because I am not making my payment in person. Anniston Alabama

My obligation with this company is due on the 28th of every month. Today, I was not able to be at their location before they close, so I called to let them know that I was going to drop off a money order dated with today's date to don't be delinquent.

A very rude and arrogant clerk told me that if I did not make my payment in person by the time they close or before, I was going to be charged with a late fee. I argued that legally the day is over by midnight and if my paymente was dated as agreed, I did not understand how I could be late, specially because is not estipulated in the contract this way.

He simply said that if I did not include the late fee in my payment, they were not going to post it and my vehicle will be reposessed.

I believe that this is the more cruel way to do business. I have been a loyal customer always paying on time without hesitation. The way I was treated and threatened is out of any concept of fair business. Places like this should be closed and people should be reimbursed with the money we loose every time we pay for our obligation. Unfortunately, sometimes bad circunstances and desperation take people like me to make poor decisions by taking temporary stupid "help" like that.
