American Laser Center BEWARE: Ask for a refund; they change the price of the service! St. Charles Illinois

When I found out I was pregnant I notified American Laser Center in St. Charles that I would not be able to continue services. At that time, they told me I would have my account put on hold. After further thought, I requested a refund of services not rendered. I felt this to be a simple request considering my medical condition and it is company policy that they NOT provide services to someone who is pregnant.

So if American Laser cannot provide services to someone who is pregnant why are they able to hold on to my money. NO MONEY = NO SERVICE so why can they provide No service but they can keep my money?

After speaking with the office manager this afternoon, I was disappointed to hear how American Laser Center tries to refund their customers. The office manager explained the refund calculation would be calculated if I were to buy single sessions of each. Apparently, based on the office manager's calculation I would not have a refund based on single sessions.

I DIDN'T PURCHASE SINGLE SESSIONS SO HOW CAN YOU ADD A SINGLE SESSION CALCULATION INTO A PACKAGE PRICE!? At the time of purchasing the packages, I was not given an option to purchase single sessions so why would I be refunded based on a single service. This in not an appropriate process for refunding your customers and I feel the company is acting on inappropriate business ethics - borderline fraudelent.

*** If a customer requested a refund of services based on the (Single) full price of a service even though they purchased it at the sale price. Most companies would laugh but somehow American Laser is laughing at it's customers because that's their refund process.

From what I have read and heard from other customers the package deals seem to be based on your negotiations not a set number so where is American laser coming up with full price numbers or sale numbers? I called a few of the offices in the area and I never got the same amount for the same service. The only thing they did have in common is they all wanted me to come in to the office and we could discuss prices.
