Cristi Mitchell sold me an Irish Setter puppy with a congenital disorder. At 10 months old my dog got deathly ill with a disease that imitates cushings disease. She lived to be almost seven years old with continuous medical attention. We spent enormous amounts of money keeping her alive. Cristi Mitchell is a thief and a liar. She told us the parents were AKC. When we went to register my dog we found out she had never registered the litter. We paid $2500.00 for a dog that wasn't even out of an AKC registered litter. Mitchell bred a field bred dog with a show dog and it was not considered a pure Irish Setter. When I called her to confront her she had no answer.  Cristi Mitchell runs a puppy mill in Lebanon, Mo. She brokers her puppies to the Hunte Corporation and they sell her puppies in Pet Shops throughout the USA. She could care less where they end up or who buys them as long as she makes her money. Her USDA inspection report indicated that she had over 100 adult dogs and 44 puppies in dirty conditions at her farm at one time. The report stated there were matted dogs and wet muddy dogs in water with no where to sit or lay down. Even after my dog died and I confronted her again she lied through her teeth again. She stated she had a lovely three acre home and beautiful dogs. She has no conscious when it came to her dogs. It is just money and large volume breeding. Buyer beware of Cristi Mitchell she is definately a puppy mill.
