Baby Pictures Fraud

When my baby was born the past month of June, I received several calls at home from photo studios offering a ten dollar picture taken at home. After hearing some offers, I accepted a photographer to take my babys pictures. They take several pictures, you pay for the film (ten dollars) and get one picture free.

The other pictures form a package which they sell for up to 500 dollars. After seeing my cute baby in the pictures, I accepted to pay around 300 for a less expensive package. It was to be delivered in two weeks. I paid half the price then and half when I saw the proofs, almost a month later.

We are in October and I have not received any of the pictures I paid for. I have called the studio several times and they have invented a lot of excuses, including problems with UPS. I want to get my money back and avoid to have other new parents fall into this scam. It is very emotional to have your baby photographed right afterdelivery, and its hard to refuse to buy the pictures so its easy to be a victim.
