Imeh Akpanudosen the individual behind Life Through the Scope contacted me about an ad I placed for a photographer.  He was very persistent from the start to use his services.  He sent me links to his work and his website. I found his work professional and in the same direction I was looking for.  We set up the shoot for the next day and after about 2 hours he was done with his job.  I handed him his dues for the day and he mentioned he would have the retouched photos to me by the next day around 3 p.m. 

The next day comes and he emails me shortly before 3 and informs me he is ill and will have the photos the next day.  Next day comes and no communication from Imeh. Another day comes and goes with my constant calling and emailing Imeh and still no response.  Finally after 3 days of no contact from Imeh I decided to call him for a private land line (previously I was calling him from my cell phone).  Of course he answers his phone.  He says the photos are taking longer to retouch and he's feeling better but I assume accidently mentions his car is in the shop.  He says he will have the photos to me by 1 p.m the next day.  The next day he does not show.  After an entire 2 weeks of daily phone messages and emails. Imeh has failed to return any messages.  

Lesson learned from dealing with amateur photographers with fake websites.  Did I mention he's 20 years old but looks like he's 35 years old.

Mr. Akpanudosen has finally delivered the photos to me.  I am pleased with the work and I will be able to use most of the photos for my business.  The reasoning behind Mr. Akpanudosen's vanishing act was due to health problems.

False information used to slander the photographer...I can't stand how people try to destroy a person's integrity with stupid and idiotic claims. Being the photographer, I have delivered the photos via email and have proof sending them.

Also, what does the way I look have ANYTHING to do with the quality of my work? Attacking a individuals appearance shows immaturity.

i met up with imeh akpanudosen to give him a deposit and sign a contract for my wedding and i have not heard from him... he wont return my e mails calls or texts... we are doing a background check on him go further with this scam .. my dad is a lawyer so we are going to take him to court... he scammed the wrong person this time... i know its only a deposit but its the principal of the issue and im sure i not the only person he has done this to. he will rot in hell and karma will get the best of him.. i also called his referrals to let them know what he did
