I was married in August of 2005. It is now August 2009 and I still do not have my wedding albums. I paid for the services the day we decided on using them. We paid in full. We had no balance. We got our proofs, (not the best pictures I have seen). They send a stupid page to fill in for your albums with no explanation. I called the woman at David's bridal that handled our order, she was no longer there. They wanted me to go to PA to go over albums. No less they wanted $10.00 a week for every week past 30 days of having the proofs. I didn't get to pick my proofs right away. I had a album for us, a wall portrait and 2 parent albums. With having stuff gone on after our wedding by the time we got our proofs we didn't have time to sit down nor did I have time to run around to my families to get proof. In the contract it says, If you have not paid in full you will be charged $10.00 per week late. We paid ours in full before my wedding therefore I should NOT have to render late fees. My payment was right on time before my wedding. They didn't tell you when you hired them that you had to order your proofs within 30 days, nor mentioned anything else regarding non payment, However again I state ours was paid in full before services were rendered.
We now have been married 4 years and have nothing to show for it. The last person I spoke to said the company wanted over $2,000 to do the albums and again I would have to go To Pennsylvania to order the albums. I am fuming about this. I still want my albums, We paid a lot of money up front and have nothing to show for it. 4 years and I am still looking at a box of proofs. All I want our my albums and hold onto my proofs. I see a lot of companies on 20/20 and on the news. I have emailed Help Me Howard and I haven't received a reply. I want my albums.
