Last night my friend Toni and I had pizza and wings from Pontillos Pizza:

By the first bite, I knew these wings were as rotten as roadkill on a hot summers day. I have been sick ever since, and have not slept in a day.

I would like something to be done about this situation.

You would not feel like being on the computer, surfing the web and filing complaints on the RoR.

IF you were exposed to campylobacter (common in tainted chicken), not enough time yet for incubation period. Believe me, as someone who did get it, you would NOT feel like doing a thing, except curling up and dying.

If you were exposed to salmonella, still not enough time for incubation, and again, you would not be on the internet, filing complaints on the RoR.

Just out of curiosity, did you send the wings back and complain at the time? If not, why not?

You stated that "By the first bite I knew these wings were as rotten as roadkill on a hot summer day". Does that mean you actually ate any or what? If the first bite was rotten, did you spit it out or did you continue to eat all the rest of the wings? You don't say what happened. Need more info.

It was the Pontillos on Mt. Hope

I have to correct this post. I called my friend Toni, and for some strange reason, instead of ordering from the one in Henrietta - like we always do - it was the scuzzy Mt. Hope Pontillos.

My point of view is:

Eat rotten food at one chain - then they are all just as bad. They don't pay people enough to care, and when you do that you are lucky to have Beavis and Butthead stay there for a week @ minimum wage.

How can you make a blanket statement about all pontillos from one bad experience which sounds exaggerated. You even implicate the wrong store, then implicate every location citing the employees don't get paid enough to care. First off, many of the pontillos stores are owned by different individuals , second by your logic no fast food restaurant can be safe because many of the employees earn minimum wage. Pontillos is a staple of the Rochester community and irresponsibl defacing them is just wrong. Did you even speak to manager about your situation or just cower behind your computer. Anytime I've had any issue with any pontillos location management has been more than happy to make it right , namely pittsford village, bushnells basin , and mendon. All great pontillos all with different ownersip.
