On October 31st I ordered a small thermostat for a floor warming system. Credit card was billed on Nov. 2. Tried to reach them for the entire week afterward for status, no answer of phones and no reply to multiple e-mails.

On November 13th an e-mail stating that the order was "being processed" arrived.

Called to discuss, Russian gentleman insisted that they have "back ordered" the item from manufacturer.

Despite his promise to call with status I had to call back regularly before ever reaching him again. His statement that "the warehouse forgot to put tracking number" into the system convinced me that this is not a legitimate outfit and are scammers of the highest order.

Back Order on the Item

I am this "Russian" gentlemen mention in this report. Yes, our company delay shipping due backorder from factory and customer after numerous conversation was offer complete refund and cancellation of the order, however he agree to wait for the order, it as right now order should be delivered to his door. We can provide complete documentation on this report. Also from what we know nobody does scam for $150.00. We do build our reputation for years and this is most important equity of our company and at the same time we never decline fact we did let this particular customer down.

Somehow these hooligans have the time and energy to get online here and to state that this is on back order, but don't have the ability to actually call me to say the same thing?

Let's be clear: these guys are criminals and should be avoided at all costs.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BUY ANYTHING FROM ECOMFORTUSA.

As of 11/20/2009 morning customer has update with tracking information. Like we explain it was delay with shipping due backorder from factory which we was not aware. It is not normal situation but situations like that does happens with all retail business. Customer will be contacted by owner of the company next week to completely resolve this situation.

This exact same thing has happened to me, and my issue is still not resolved. My order was even larger, at about $240 dollars, and all of the consumers' claims above have happened to me as well. I have just posted my own report on this company. Avoid this company, as it is NOT legitimate in my experience!
