Earl Gooch is a trainee plumber again. He has been a trainee for 17 years off and on. Is he just playing with the system getting a trainee plumbers card again? This is so unbelievable. I do wonder how many certified licensed plumbers in Clark County Washington knew that Earl Gooch was not certified and never said anything. I wonder how many wholesalers have sold Earl Gooch water heaters at wholesale price knowing he wasn’t a certified plumber and didn’t have employees.

All the plumbing supply warehouses should be supportive to the certified licensed plumbers. The warehouses can demand that a certified licensed plumber can purchase only. If there is no documentation of a certified plumber, then no wholesale prices for that business. This would be a start at protecting the plumbing trade.
If you don’t protect your certification by reporting unlicensed plumbers than the certification that you worked so long for and maintain every year with the continual education course become worthless.
