My Truck was Burglerized Sat night May 9th or early Sun Morning May 10th. Was informed by reprting officer that I needed to get my info on Stolen Items to Area Pawn shops. The caught 3 or 4 Male Ind.Sat night May 9th Burglerizing Vehicels not far from Me.

Went to talk to Detective on Mon. May 11th. He was busy with Someone and would get to me, after about an hour I was told He would not be able to speak with me that I wouldneed to set an app. to see him.But recpt. Could not
set up or tell me how to set up appt. with detective
All I needed to know was if the Ind. they had in coustedy did or did not have my property.

To top all of that off about 10yrs ago a house I was remodeling was Burglerized ( Yes You Guessed it) it was in Denison Texas and investigated by Denison Detectives.
They was Given Names of Suspects and when Theychecked trhem out They had part of my property and gave info on Items that was retreaved by me.Case was sent to Dist. Attorney Grayson County Texas.In time was sent back to Denison Detectives for further investigation.

Well when I contacted Denison Detectives about the case, They did not know anything about it

The moralto this Story is That the B oys that stole all of my stuff walked scott free and so will the ones thatGot me this time.All because the Denison Detectives ar incompitant And trhe City of Denison needs to Hire compatant personelfor Their investigative Dept.

Just as I said probably would never see any of my property again. Well the detectives working the case said that there is no doubt that the boys they caught was the ones that got into my truck because the shoe prints matched. But in the same sentance they told me that the judge would probably throw it out because of how many pairs of nike shoes was made  like the ones worn. But i have found out that the detectives worked out a deal with the boys to turn in some loval drug dealers. So I will never see any of my property because of that. Just the same as 10 years ago. So if you ever move3 to Denison Texas and get ripped off don't bother calling the Police Dept. because it will not do you any good. The cops here are just as big of crooks as the crooks are.

Civil suit?

While you probably wouldn't have gotten your actual property back anyways, you could have at least gotten a restitution order out of a criminal prosecution, so I understand your frustration.

But you still have the option of filing civil lawsuits against these guys. Civil judgments aren't as easy to enforce as restitution orders, but it seems like it would at least be worth a try, especially if this could be a small claims case. The burden of proving that these were the guys that stole your items is far less in a civil case, and there's a good chance that you could wind up with a default judgment.
