Maricopa County Child Support Enforcement rip-off! Even when they do garnish for child support, they hold on to the money. Interest scam! Phoenix Arizona

I left Arizona, and they are still making me miserable. They get to keep the case since it started in their (Maricopa County) juristiction. Dumb me thought I'd be rid of them.

They took a year to do a child support modification, I was getting a whole $43 a week. They took another year to start doing it in the first place. I spoke to Janet Evens,the AGI attorney and she told me 3 months, since he was in default for never returning the original paperwork to them, which I did and paid to have notarized. She found I should be getting 642/month. I never spoke to her again, they would never put me through to her. I even tried having a neigbor call, no luck. After 9 months of them doing nothing, they sent me the paperwork that they were giving to the court, which reduced the child support modification, and I was told if I wanted it changed I should go to MC Superior Court. I start getting payments 3 monts after it became a court order (it was supposed) to start on the date the judge signed it. He stopped paying in October, and they have done nothing. It took them 2 months to send back the paperwork I had signed and notorized in my state's child support office, so future payments would be sent to me by then. Arizona will not cooperate with my new worker, who is not allowed to collect for me, but can get status updates. He's appologizing to me for the way the case is going, while I'm in shocked that anyone is actually working on it and calls to communicate with me. It's amazing to me, after years of dealing with Arizona. The whole state is corrupt, that's another long story. Thank you
