First of all, we have never installed a pool for ANYONE by the name of Charles. Second of all, the only customer who had this issue of a delay, went by the name of Deborah and Walter Aliff, who own A&A Electrical in Conway, SC and their house is in Conway, SC.
These people insisted on a huge pool that was not even being manufactured in this country yet. They toured the plant and were told by the MANUFACTURER, not by Atlantis Pools, that their pool would be ready in April! The pool was not ready until the end of May at no fault of ours.
After numerous crazy phone calls from the wife, we told them on about 8 occasions that we wanted to cancel the contract and give them back EVERY penny as we weren't comfortable dealing with them. On EVERY occasion, the husband called and told us to ignore her and to please continue the agreement! Against our better judgement, we did.
In March, we had been using what we thought was a superior product (salt system)but during the time it took to get the pool, had numerous problems with it. We told them this but they had ordered what they wanted from the internet that they won't have a warranty on as it was installed by the homeowner instead of a pool professional. There was never a bait and switch and never has been.
I think it is spineless to use a fake name and location to file a complaint.
