I had a Gary Pool installed at my residence in Austin, TX 17 years ago. I just found out in May of this year that the Gary pool company did not file permits for the work they have done. Thus, the City of Austin is requiring me to file a residential permit for the pool and charging me the fees for the expired pool permits. I researched my originial pool contract and it states that "Gary shall pay for all building permits required.....".
I tried calling Gary Pools in May, as well as emailing them. They have not contacted me on this matter.

Gary Pools does in fact address any and all issues customers have with regards to their swimming pool; including any questions or inquiries with regards to the permits required to build same.
While the industry and technology is changing so are the rules and regulations as to what is required to build a swimming pool. Alongside of that are the differenet cities' record keeping and ways of managing same. There have been several customers that unfortunately had to see the side affects of these growths. The city of Austin seems to be the worst in this respect. We work hard with both the homeowner and the municipalities to resolve said issues in a timely manner. Just as we would with any concern a customer would have regarding their Gary Pool.
