We contracted See-Blue Pools (“See-Blue”) to build a pool, spa and patio cover. Jerry Moren from See-Blue Pools has turned what should be an exciting time into a complete nightmare. He is a liar, fraud and scam artist. We have paid him on time, and on schedule 80% of the contract amount, These are the issues we have with See-Blue: 1. See-Blue built a beach entry in the pool with an elevation which is dangerous and a liability. Two inspectors have informed Jerry about the problem with the beach entry and he refuses to fix it unless we pay for it. We refused to pay because it is CLEARLY his mistake. This is NOT a cosmetic issue. 2. See-Blue was contracted to install 4 Hayward Color Logic LED lights. Only three lights were installed. A giant light was installed in the spa and a small light in the pool area. This is obviously incorrect. 3. See-Blue was contracted to install a Del Ozone brand ozonator. Instead, without our knowledge, he installed a knock-off, less expensive brand. 4. See-Blue Pools is not paying contractors and is lying to them, stating we have not paid him. 5. We have spoken with him on several occasions, while is also slurring his words and obviously intoxicated. In closing we have documentation for all of the claims made in the above. A friend of mine brought to my attention ripoffreport.com before hiring a company to put in a back-yard pool for my folks. Having met Mr. Malcolm Jerry Moren, I was only somewhat surprised by the complaints on ripoffreports.com. Then google caught my attention when See-Blue Pools and spa and Artisan Blue Pools came up with the same street address and phone number-7204 Standard Rd, Magnolia TX and 713-249-2132. Mr. Moren's name so far has not come up in conjunction with Artisan Blue Pools, but his wife's name, Martha Standley, does.

(See-Blue Pools also showed an old address in Spring, TX-farther paragraph down for detail).

One other thing that caught my eye was a headline from Google that said: Be safe this Halloween-Registered Sex Offender List for Montgomery County, TX. Malcolm Jerry Moren at 7204 Standard Rd, Magnolia, TX. The current picture in the registry is Mr. Malcolm Jerry Moren from March 2011.

According to the BBB of Greater Houston and South Texas web-site, See-Blue Pools (located at 6046 FM 2920 suite 118, Spring, TX) is not-accredited with them because it is out of business. I was unable to confirm this elsewhere. However, corporationwiki.com has a profile for Mr. Malcolm Jerry Moren from March 2011 with the business See-Blue Pools, LLC and insiderpages.com has an address in Magnolia, not Spring, TX.

I just wanted this information brought to the attention of others, especially to those who have filed reports against Mr. Moren. To me, this information is very concerning. It also appears that some of the photos used for www.artisanbluepools.com may have come from one of ripoffreport.com's report #473249- the one describing a beach entry. After reading of Mr. Moren's abusive and sexist mannerism-even to clients and other contractors, I would be concerned for those who may hire him in the future without knowing this. Insiderpages.com also has a warning against Mr. Moren being a scam artist.
