On September 25, 2011 and after through research we purchased an Dolphin Deluxe 3 automatic pool cleaner from Leslies Pool Supply (Online Store) www.lesliespools.com because of great reviews with no negative marks at all.
We received the cleaner on October 6, 2011 and tried it out. After the first cleaning we noticed that the Dolphin cleaned everything very good except 3’ of the deep end and 3’ of the shallow end??  Therefore, we started the three-hour process over again with the same results. At this point, we knew that our cleaner simply did not go to the areas deep and shallow. The next day we started the process again but started it in the deep end, still no luck, our dolphin moved to the center of the pool and stayed there.

I placed a call to Leslies Pool Supply help line and was walked through a trouble-shooting sheet and finally told that the cleaner needed 10 days in order to learn our pool. After eleven days and no improvement I called Leslies back and requested an upgrade to a cleaner that worked on my pool or my money back. This is when I learned that it was past the 14-day return period and I was simply out of luck! I explained repeatedly too many deft ears that Leslies had advised me to wait an additional 10 days and that put me past the 14-day return period. I would not have waited if I knew Leslies did business like this. After begging and pleading I finally got to talk with the manager (Nick Robinson) and he told me that there was nothing he could do for me, I was wasting his time, and he hung up the phone!!!

To try and prevent others from getting ripped off as I did, I went back to their web site and filed a negative review on this item, my review was rejected???? Submitted another review and it was rejected???? To this day, there are still just the four (Great) reviews for this item and nothing negative. Therefore, it’s obvious that un-ethical acts are taking place on the reviews for Leslies web site. I would not have purchased had negative reviews been present.

So in less than a month the facts are:
·         We have lost $600.00 dollars.
·         Stuck with a piece of junk forever that doesn’t work and NEVER did!
·         While Leslies Pool Supply Inc. boast about its “Satisfaction Guarantee”

Went into a local leslie's a couple of months ago to get a filter for my hot tub. I ask the clerk about it 'cause the don't have one on the shelf. He says let's "look it up" in the computer. So we walk over to the computer to "look it up". I'm standing beside him, looking at the computer and he tells me they don't have any in stock but can order it and it'll be here in a week or so. I'm looking at the computer screen and its' listed AT COST of $11 and change and the clerk's quoting $35 and change plus tax. I figure if I'm gonna have to wait a week or so, I might as well go home and shop around on the internet. I order TWO of the same filter, at $16 a piece, plus $2 shipping, without tax that arrive in 4 days. Lesson learned.
