I have a salt in ground swimming pool.
When the salt generator unit went out, I bought one from Pool Care by Weidenhamer, Inc. They suppose to install it until functional.
1st trip they made it required some minor PVC cutting and adjusting. They told me to wait until next morning to turn it on. When I tried to turn it on the next day the salt power pack unit would not come on as the pump was running the PVC pipe where they cut had a leak.
When I called them the 2nd trip the helper came out and fixed the PVC leak but the power on the salt unit would not come on and when he called his boss the owner, they decided that they would change the power pack.
3rd trip they made they changed the power pack without my presence as I requested and I noticed the Salt Water unit had a leak. When I called them to come out and see what the problem was they gave me the runaround that it was just an O ring and for me to check it. I told them I did not want to open the unit because of warranty issues and that it was their responsibility.
After four weeks of going back and forth on the phone he said he would have to charge me to come out a 4th time. I told him I did not think that was right since I bought the product from them and they need to stand behind it, and should of corrected their problem at their expense however many trips it took.
