On 6/21/07 purchased a hayward ladybug above ground swimming pool cleaner as recommended by sales staff went to use cleaner a couple of days later and after an hour of frustration found out the item fresh out of the box. does not work.

went back to store on 6/25/07 to return or exchange and I was told by the sales guy there was nothing he could do. asked for the owner or manager who was not there at the time. on there receipt it states refunds given up to 7 days with receipt which I do have and I was within there 7 day policy.

well obviously service ends after the sale. thank god I did not buy my swimming pool from these guys. now I did leave a couple of messages for the owner or manager to call me back to no avail. so be careful of this ripoff company. they should change there name from THE GREAT ESCAPE to THE GREAT RIPOFF.

Also what kind of legitimate company only gives a 7 day return policy on products. I am working with my credit card company to reverse the $120.00 charge and Great Escape told them the product I purchased was a pool chemical which there is no returns as stated on there receipt which is fine. but the item is a mechanical pool cleaner not a chemical. so it appears they are also liars.
