Greetings Mr. L.,
Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention. Please know that our Sales Representatives do their best in screening potential Monster customers in regards to making sure they meet our Terms of Service. We are in the process of investigating the business practices of TCTalent. As soon as we uncover information that will prove a violation to the Monster Terms of Use, we will take the appropriate action. We appreciate your concern and encourage you to continue alerting us of potential posting issues.
Thank you,

Subject: Investigation
Dear Donna,
I was given this address in the hopes of trying to appeal to Monster.com's human side. I'm not a consumer advocate, or anything that is a direct threat to Monster. I am simply a job-seeker.
As a job-seeker, I have trusted your site for a while now and have been satisfied thus far. Recently I fell into an employment scam conducted by TCTalent, formerly Options. I have read about Monster's involvement.
I understand you need to make money. But please consider this: These people are con artists and vampires. They appeal to peoples emotions to hard sale them out of money; they rob their employees blind (getting rid of them after a week or so, so they don't have to pay them their commissions), they LIE to their employees, potential employees, and people that are scouted by those they lied to. Quite simply, they are a fraud. You don't have to believe me, or the other people that have written Monster.com to stop these folks from hurting people. Do your own investigation. You are associated with con artists... Directly. I would encourage you to send someone undercover to investigate this in your local area to see what they are all about, then decide if you want to be associated.
You have made it very difficult to trust you by not responding to my report (and no doubt countless others) in the past with any kind of measure. Please respond now and stop contributing to hurting people that are already hurt. Namely consumers in a downed economy. I find the most dangerous people the ones that mix truth and legitimacy with lies. Your association with this scam (and others I won't mention here) says a lot about YOUR integrity.
Your Terms of Use are clear. Maybe you are being selective with whom you apply those rules. If that is the case, then pardon me, but you are a fraud as well.
I hope to continue using your services with the same feeling of comfort as in the past, because I believe that this was simply an oversight and you will deal with it appropriately.
Regards,
Mike L., Joe Consumer

Comment from EDitor's Staff:
Monster.com is being disingenuous, to say the least, in their response to this victim. Rip-off Report™ has been investigating the Options Talent AKA TC Talent - Monster.com affiliation ever since it became apparent that Monster.com had become complicent in a scheme to post a bogus job announcement for an Investigator position with Rip-off Report™ (Monster job #15626388) in August 2002. Since then Monster.com has been contacted numerous times about the unprincipled business practices of Options Talent AKA TC Talent, as was Hotjobs.com. The latter dissolved their relationship with TCT, while Monster.com maintains its lucrative relationship, scamming those hoping for bona fide employment. Additionally, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Boston was informed of the problem and only within the last month was Monster.com removed as a member in good standing. The BBB indicates that they only receive ONE complaint in a three-year reporting period? [SEE BELOW: Rip-off Report™ letter of protest to Monster.com after having been stonewalled by their General Counsel, Donna Guilmette.]

RE: Subject: Investigator Monster Job #15626388
Dear April Young-Jodoin:
The purpose of this e-mail is to memorialized a conversation I just had with your legal department. I just spoke with Donna Gollamette (she refused to provide me any information about the spelling of her name) in legal and you people are so dishonest. I spoke with Donna about one hour ago and she told me that the posting had been removed. Now I know why they call them "LIARS!" As of this writing it is still up and we are still getting responses.
I sent you an e-mail on Friday, August 16, 2002 8:29 AM, informing you of the defect and the problems being created and you have done nothing. You are being put on notice that you are knowingly participating in a fraud and that you are intentionally lying to cover up that fraud. Furthermore, you have engaged in conspiracy to create this situation, having a long-standing pecuniary relationship with the perpetrators, thereby profiting substantially in this tort. The extent of the damage includes other postings which are no longer on your site, but were. Finally, your continued non-compliance is further evidence of your bad faith in this matter. I am
Very Sincerely Yours,
