AHCO Maternity Advantage-Affordable HeathCare Options Didn't provide service as they claimed they would Avon Lake Ohio

When I found out that I was pregnant, I knew my insurance was not going to cover maternity since I just switched from another company. They require you to be with them for at least 2 years before maternity is covered. Therefore, I went on line to see if there were other options. I found AHCO and they sounded as if they were going to help out a great deal with the maternity cost. I called them and signed up right away since they guaranteed my savings. I charged $799 on my credit card and thought that it was going to be worth all the savings they promise. They never sent me my card which I had to call couple times to get.

Unfortunately, I had an ectopic pregnancy the first round but I had a successful pregnancy 6 months later.

While I was trying to get everything set up for the OBGYN visits and hospital, I had asked AHCO to help me get the discount they promised. Every time I called they gave me different stories about how I'm suppose to contact the doctors and hospitals myself to get the savings. I insisted that I had paid them to provide the service they guaranteed but they were not willing to help in any way. It was constant battle for me to call them and try to get them to help me. All the doctors and hospitals that I contacted said they never heard of them or their service. Basically, I was out $799 and all the time and energy spent to utilize their service. At the end, I think I saved less than $200 in some lab work.

AHCO definitely does not fufill their promise and they are a big waste of money!
