I received a phone call while at work from this company Corporate Data, a man named Don Kennedy. They were attempting to get me to receive products from them which I refused. At a later time, they sent a toner to me and a little bit later a bill for the item they sent to me. I was attempting to return the item to a company called IDCSERVCO, which they tried to charge me a 20% restock fee to just return it. If Corporate Data calls you, get the name of the person and report them asap. They are frauds and buy information to scam you. BE CAUTIOUS!

We were told to falsify names over the telephone.

AUTHOR: Former Las Vegan - Pearl City (U.S.A.)

First of all, Don Kennedy's name was James Tavis on his business card. So I'll refer to him as James Tavis. He wouldn't mind being called Jimmy, either. James appeared to be from California because he had California plates on his vehicle.

When I was working there, everyone in the room was given a script with a sheet that included many locations. We, his employees, were told to read the script to the companies listed and falsify our names. A line on the script claimed that we were already familiar with or had some kind of buyer/seller relationship with their company. We were told by James Tavis to falsify our names and if the person on the other end asked us too many questions, just hang up and call the next number.

When I heard James talk to the people he called, he claimed to be other names at locations other than the physical location where we worked. He would fake names and places constantly. Don Kennedy was a common name he used.

Physical description: James was about 6'1" and he had a bodybuilder physique. He had short hair.

His partner(s): He opened the location with Andrea, a woman with a foreign European accent.

His hiring ads appeared on Craigslist in "Las Vegas, NV."

He opened the place early in the morning. This is the contact information that includes the location where I worked for James Tavis:

KNOWN TELEMARKETING SCAMS THAT TARGETS BUSINESSES

AUTHOR: Laurie - Haslet (U.S.A.)

Even when you say NO -they will still send product and then OVER CHARGE for it.

go to a website (((Redacted))) - read the 16 ways You Can BE Phone Scammed.

They tried it on me at work - and I told them OUR CONTRACT IS NOT WITH YOUR COMPANY and hung up.

They ask questions to get a "YES" response, then doctor their recording to make it appear you agreed to service when in fact you did not.

Because I am an INFORMED CONSUMER - I was aware of the scam before they called and knew it was a scam
