I ordered busines cards online from Overnight Prints. I used the template with their image and onlie it looked fine.

I got the cards - not overnight, and they are horrible. The image is so blurred no one can tell me what it is, the print is too light and small - also something that could not be seen when you give your approval for them online the image you see is clear and ledgable.

I contacted them and they said they would reprint them for free. I thought great, and then also told them if they felt it better to change the print color to do so. I explained my concerns that online it looked fine but now that I have the card it is hard to read, I thought maybe they could suggest if it would do anything to change it.

Well they wrote back and said they wanted to now charge me for the new cards. My reply was no, I will send them back.

That is when Debbie called me from their retention department. She suggested I send them back and then they will decide if I will be charged or not. So now they want the cards back, they may or may not give me a refund. That is a joke.

I contacted my bank and they are going to get involved. I am coping the worst of the cards for records & the bank has the emails we have sent back and forth.

I would never do business with them again, they are absolutely a nightmare.

I love this company...

AUTHOR: Jennifer - California (U.S.A.)

I just have to say that I have had nothing but good experiences with this company.
I first found them online about 2 1/2 years ago and after dealing with our local printer who showed us blurry proofs and charged over 100 dollars for just 500 medium weight cards I thought I would try Overnight Prints.

I used an online design and layout and ordered 1,000. I got them in just a few days (2 or 3, I can't remember for sure) and I was so impressed with them. They are super thick and glossy. It doesn't cost extra for the glossy uv coat (unlike our local printers) and they looked great.

Since then, our business location and phone number changed so we ordered a new set with a different layout, same pictures. Those came out great too.

A few months later we changed the cards again and ordered more. At the price around 58 dollars for 1,000 with shipping and everything it doesn't kill me to change them so often.

Each of those times I have gotten the cards very quickly and have had no problems. All of the designs came out just as they had on the screen and I was very impressed. We get comments all the time on the quality of our cards. Reordering is also very easy as they have all your information, you can reorder the same cards in just a few clicks or edit them with a few more.

Recently a friend of mine decided to start a part-time business. He is an artist, so I used one of his images and after editing it I created my own card. I am not super good with uploading things onto the internet but it was easy and after a few trys I had it perfect. (I had to keep resizing my image since I have never done anything like this before) The online proof looked great so we ordered them.

This time it took almost a week to get the order. I had sent an email asking about them since it usually didn't take so long. (We are a few hours north of Santa Ana) Well, they sent me an email saying they had a new printing location out of Tennessee, I believe. So it took much longer than I expected. The quality was still great and people comment on his cards as well.

I am sorry about your situation, maybe they are having more problems with the other printing location.... I have never had any of the cards look blurry even slightly. I just wanted to give my experience since I think they are great and tell everyone else about them. Oh, I forgot that another guy down the street from us opened up a new business and he saw our cards and decided to order his from them as well. They came right away and good quality.

Perhaps they aren't doing as well now, it has been about 2 months since I ordered the cards for my friend. Also, I have never had to deal with the customer service (other than asking about the slow order) so I can't comment on how they deal with any problems that happen. I just know that out of 5 orders I haven't seen any blurryness or other printing problems, with the online designer or uploading your own designs.

Hopefully they will do the right thing and send you out new cards and make you a happy customer. I will be very dissappointed if they keep having problems, as I really like using them. Good luck, please update with any news. Thanks.
