WORST print job I have ever seen. These guys act as a go-between, taking your job and sending it out to companies that actually do the printing. I saw samples and the brochures we got from them were nothing like them. The brochures looked like the paper slipped in the printer or something. Would they refund our money? No.
Even though they claim to have a money back guarantee. These guys are CROOKS. Do yourselves a favour and get your stuff printed somewhere else even if its at Staples or UPS. The outcome will look a ton better and you wont be ripped off with false claims. Vertical Thinking in Burlington is just a company that is looking to scam you from your money.
I will never again deal with these rip off artists.

Hello,
Is the owner of Vertical Thinking I have to say this is an unusual report. If an issue had occurred as the client is describing (marks on the printing making it appear as though if it slipped) this would be fully covered under our quality satisfaction guarantee and reprinted immediately.
Should this individual was to contact us, I'm sure we can work this out.

On the other hand, I suspect this may be a rather underhanded competitor… any individual having spoken to us about such an issue would have been taken care of as any of our clients can tell you.

Competitor I am not. Unhappy customer I indeed am.
We already went through the complaint process with you people and you all had one excuse after another. Reason after reason why it was not your fault that the printing sucked, that it was somehow our fault. What a joke. After you people refusing to do right by the customer we walked and had all of our printing done elsewhere without any problems at all. I have told all my business associates already about how you run your business and I will continue to tell people. Good printing happens when the business is owned by honest people and you are certainly not that. If you never admit that your printing is garbage then it all works out for you, huh Mr. Adams. It means you never have to give a refund. I have dealt with printers for many years and never have we had to pay up front. We sent in our job, they printed, they invoiced, we paid. You guys are the first we came across that demanded full payment up front. I should have known then that something was wrong! If your company was run like all other printers then I would have been able to check the quality of work before paying for the brochures. YOu do not stand behind your product. If you did you would feel confident in the customer paying after they got it. The fact that you take the money and run in the beginning is evidence enough for me now that you KNOW your services are garbage and that you just made a quick buck for nothing.
Good riddance. I'll use a proper printing company from now on.

It's a bit hard for a business owner to defend himself against a person who won't identify themselves so we can see the specifics of the issue but I want to provide anybody who's reading this with a little bit of perspective:
1.
We have been in business for four years and have printed literally thousands of print jobs (approximately 100 every single week) and we have maybe one or two jobs per week out of those 100 jobs with an issue which we quickly resolve.
2.
I would be happy to provide anyone reading this multiple long time references (names and phone numbers), even including references from people who did in fact have issues which we quickly resolved.
3.
We have literally never had a Better Business Bureau complaint against us… With thousands of jobs printed we have to be doing something right.
4.
Ripoff report.com in no way checks the validity of people's complaints (unlike more reputable organizations like the Better Business Bureau). There is lots of reasons why somebody might be unhappy with their product that are simply out of our control such as graphics supplied by the client that were not top quality, failure on the client's part to check their proofs properly etc. etc. I can personally assure you that any time an issue comes up that is our fault we resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Again, I be happy to provide names and phone numbers of references who can attest to this fact.

I too have had a bad experience with these guys for the same reason. I find it interesting that they push so hard to save their tail by mentioning "no complaints with the BBB". Thing is.... its usually companies that get stuff printed. LIke we did. It was garbage. We did try to go to the BBB and were turned away. Why? They only deal with "individual" consumers. Not businesses. You cant be a business and go up against a business. Vertical Thinking must know that or else why would they keep trying to pull the wool over everyones eyes by mentioning it over and over. They know they're safe. They know they can produce crappy printing and get away with it. The only way it's not crap is if you pay extra to have them design it for you. Another one of their scams. Great company... *sarcastic*
