West Coast Distribution And IDCSERVCO Wanted to deliver a toner cartridge that was "not going to be distributed for 4 months". BS! Huntington Beach California

Same thing happened to me. A RUDE man called and spoke with one of my supervisors. Finally asked to speak to a manager. I listened to his spill for 15 minutes and finally he said he was sending over a fax for me to sign and it would be sent on through. He was claiming that our toner for our printer would not be being distributed for 4 months and they knew we would need it. He also said all our paper work and files were transfered over to him and that it was a mess so he was trying to sort everything out, blah blah. I also had "UPS" call and say they had a ripped shipping label and needed our address...now I realize that this was the same company!

After receiving the fax, it did not look legit at all. I then looked the company up and found this report. Thank goodness...I called and left a very sweet message for West Coast Distribution asking someone to call me back because I had a question about my order, and what do you know?! Someone indeed called me back. The only reason I believe they did was because I was being so sweet on the message. Very unprofessional, I hear "This is Fred...uhhh you called about the toner." That's when I told him that I did not order this item, nor did I want it, and we would not be paying for it if we did receive it. He said, "uhh, just fax back over with cancel on it" and hung up on me. I attached a cover letter to the fax saying:

"I was contacted by a man letting me know her was sending over toner for a machine we have contracted out. He continued to fax over an order sheet, and after investigation, I realized this was a scam. Do NOT proceed with any order or delivery. I have not signed or paid for anything from this company. If you do indeed send anything from your company, know that we will not accept it and will not pay any bill. We will take legal action and also file a criminal complaint."

These people need to be stopped! It is ridiculous. I notified our purchasing department and also sent the information over to them that was sent from this fraudulent company.
