I get a continuing stream of complaints about US Record Search and Fred Joseph due to the posting on my site of how I was ripped off.

I sued them in court and won. The first judge gave me my $495 back and $2,000 in punitive damages; the second judge (on appeal) said that my evidence (over 130 pages) was insufficient to justify punitive damages. Different judges have different thresholds.

Basically, they promise you the world, take your money, deposit it, and never get back to you. When you call to complain, they tell you it is still in research. Fred will call you a four letter word or insult you and tell you to call back later.

Few people sue him so it makes him a lot of money, which based on evidence I presented in court appears to be around $40,000 per month.
