Mary Beth Giordano is by far the WORST principle I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. She is so heartless we wonder how she gets around without the assistance of a machine.  She has no passion and walks around with a look in her eyes like a deer in headlights! I initially tought it was me, however it took very little time to see that I was NOT alone. Just about everyone I speak with notes that she avoids eye contact with parents, she refuses to help anyone...and for a school that drains you for volunteer hours, she puts NONE in. What a role model. Had I know I would never have enrolled our children. But now after two years I don't have the heart to take them away from their friends. Not to mention the teachers are wonderful!  The Principle however is walking around as though all is good and there are no problems. VERY IRRESPONSIBLE TO SAY THE LEAST FOR A SCHOOL PRINCIPLE.  Another issue with this "principle" is that there is no follow through on pertinent issues and she does not seem to care about the lack of security. I tell you what if anything happens to my children I will make her personally responsible (in a civil and legal manner of course) as I believe she has to power to fix this issue.
Who chose her...is it the same person that chose the last two principles, who both of which did not last long? Ms. "G" as those "kiss ass" parents like to call you...get it together, get a heart and get a brain, YOUR THE PRINCIPLE! Or simply quit!

So your school has a bad principal? (note the correct spelling) Get involved with the school board and do something about it. BUt I don't see anything here about a rip off...

Its a shame how much this website is changing. Its called "ripoffreport" and was designed as forum for consumers who were scammed to have a voice and fight back. Its not a forum to air personal issues, gripes etc. Where's the ripoff? Okay, so you don't think the principal of your kids school is doing a good job... you didn't even really explain how this principal was bad. Because she doesn't properly utilize volunteers? because she walks around like "a deer in headlights" What does that even mean in this context? I don't think you really know what that metaphor means . You say she has no passion...okay, give examples. Take your grievences through the proper channels, writing up a ripoffreport on this woman isn't going to help. Direct and channel your anger in the right direction and lodge your complaint somewhere where it will make a difference and be heard.

Mary Beth Giordano is NOTHING of the sort! Yes, she is and has been a positive and hard working role model to future generations for DECADES! Thank GOD, there are people in this world such as MARY BETH GIORDANO!!! Clearly this is NOT the school for You. Get out! Why are you there? What exempts you and your family from volunteering at the school. This was clearly explained to you PRIOR to becoming apart of the St. Mel School community!  If you can't do the time then pay.  The rest of us did. What makes you and yours so SPECIAL? Gee, I wonder why the teachers are so wonderful? Could it be that their boss is Mary Beth? You are clearly creating a bad environment within the parent/administration community and now you're on the internet??? You and "just about everyone" YOU come in contact with should LEAVE.  In essence, you and your bitterness badmouths the past, present and future generations of the St. Mel's School community and residents of Woodland Hills.  You and your TWO children are not the only ones that exist in this world. Thank God for Mary Beth Giordano!
