Esria Inc a Software, Flash, Flex consulting company has not paid over 10 contractors for the work they've done. The CEO Bob Stewart has lied on several occasions to the contractors saying that he will pay them but has not yet done so. he has given them several excuses but they keep changing with every month. Some contractors have not been paid in over a year.

Esria Inc continues to hire new people, when they clearly shouldn't be. How are they able to hire new people when there are others who haven't been fully paid yet? Beware of Esria Inc, do not work with them because you will not get paid. Do not hire Esria Inc for your projects, find someone else, if you do you may face lawsuites from contractors.

What happened...

AUTHOR: Clint Modien - San Francisco (USA)

Ok... so I probably should have responded to this a while ago… but better late than never I suppose.

In Aug 2008 we decided to chase a lot more work.  We hired some sales
people and in Sept we grabbed an office in Boston.  In October we
landed a decent sized project with Adobe Consulting but lost money on
another project. In late Oct and early November we lost a couple more
projects from existing clients… so we laid off our full time recruiter.
In late November/early December we were faced with the decision of
either laying employees off before christmas or stretching our payments
out through till Jan when we were supposed to have a bunch of new work
come in.  We decided to stretch the payments out.  In Jan the work
didn't come in and in early Feb we made the decision to lay everyone
off and euthanize the company that we worked 3 years to build so that
we could get a 1/4 payment owing to our contractors.  In Feb and March
we landed a few projects.  The work was turned over to various
contractors.

The accusation that we didn't pay our employees is false.  We did
however miss our last payroll by a few days.  The accusation that we
hired new people in Jan. is also false.  The last people we hired were
in November.  The CEO communicated that we would make a 30% payment in
Jan.  This was contingent upon the new business that we were scheduled
to land in Jan that subsequently came in at the end of Feb and March.
The CEO did not lie.  This is also false.

In all fairness I understand that this was written out of frustration.
Ironically it did contribute to our downfall so it's negative
intentions we're realized.

If we had it to do over again… would we have done anything
differently?  Maybe… Probably… We stiffed a bunch of people… it pisses
me off… I'm still trying to figure that out.

Anyway… if want to contact me here's my info:
