I want to respond to this report from "Louie in Schenectady. I have been working and serving the sprititual community for over 25 years. This has been my lifes work. In the 25 years that i have been serving the community I have never been put into a position to have to defend my reputation because my customers believe in my work ethics and my integrity. We at Ada's Spiritworks have a very clear idea of who wrote this false evil report. A disgruntled ex employee who was ripping off our shop from day one. We opened our doors to help her as we do with everyone and gave her a job when no one else would because of her criminal record. When reading this report please consider the source. Over 25 years in business and we have never had a single negative response or complaint. We have always offered spiritual advice and help to all those in need wether they have money or not when spirit tells us someone needs the help. I will continue to pray for all those who are filled with envy, hatred, and bitterness and refuse to grow spiritually. It is obvious that this person has nothing better to do than project onto the world what they themselves possess.

I am a believer of the faith and know the owner of this business. I am very hurt and disturbed by these alligations..This woman has been nothing but honest to the community and others that has came her way. I dont think the person making the negative report was in the right mind. This sounds personal and if you knew all these things were going on why did'nt you do something earlier. "louie" you should know that giving out negative energy to other is what you will recieve in the long run.

i am a long standing customer of ada's spiritworks, i find these allegations appauling and know them to be untrue. ada's spritworks has thrived for almost two decades in the same albany area. this business thrives because of the honest reputation that follows it. many others like myself continue to do business with this establishment because we are happy and satisfied. as a satisfied consumer i can say that every experience i have had with ada has been a pleasant one.

I am outraged by the statements made about Ada's SpiritWorks. I have been a loyal customer of Ada's for over 7 years now and she has always been very supportive, honest, and trustworthy. She has helped me greatly through the years become a better person, more positive, more in tune with my self. She has helped me through some rather tough situations over the years and I have never seen or heard anything bad about Ada or her work in the community.
She is an honest hard working god loving woman who's work is dedicated to helping others. She has helped pull people like me up out of the dredge and shown us with gods help the wonders that really are there for us. Her positive energy, strength, and devotion to god and spirit is what keeps her going. Anyone that knows Ada knows that she is totally devoted to Gods work with love from the heart.

What is really mysterious is that people are so ignorant and "SPIRITUAL" to fall for this crap in the first place? Dont curse me Ada! 

Having known Ada for over 14 years personally, I have to say that this entry about her is a complete defamation of character.  Just because I know Ada personally does not mean that I am completely biased.  I have seen her interact with many, many customers over the years and she is EXTREMELY kind and patient with every one of them, in fact, sometimes she burns herself out with all of the energy she puts out to others, in my opinion.  Not that she minds, she is a Priestess, this is her life, her love and her work, to help people.  I have referred others to Ada over the years and I have yet to hear anyone report one complaint.  In fact, everyone I have ever referred to Ada has thanked me, because she has helped them, or they just found some really cool products at her store for gifts! Ada is a very ethical businesswoman who puts her heart and soul into her work, and she always has a smile and a hug for all of her customers, many of whom are her friends or quickly become her friends!  Ada's store is always so busy with customers, that sometimes I need to be patient and wait my turn to be able to talk with her, but she always makes the time for me.  She takes everyone seriously and treats everyone with respect.  With so many people waiting for Ada to help them out, it is just ridiculous to me how someone could write something so vicious, inflammatory, wrong, and just plain incorrect about Ada and her practices.  Ada would never want or need to rip ANYONE off, as I said, she usually has a packed house at her store of people wanting to talk to her and ask for her help or advice.  And she is extremely honest, she won't recommend or sell you products that you don't need or want(unless you insist on buying these things yourself, it is always your choice of what you want to purchase as in any store, or if you choose to purchase nothing at all!)  Obviously, the person who posted this nasty entry about Ada is someone with a personal gripe, and a serious personal problem.  Honestly, this one entry, though evil and incorrect, will do absolutely no damage to Ada or her business.  She is way too successful, professional, and just truly awesome for one person to affect her negatively.  If anything, she would pray for you to stop being so evil, since being evil will only hurt you in the end.  I'm not quite as nice.  To whomever posted this nonsense about Ada, I say, get a life.

This is an easy one to deal with... If there are supposedly people complaining that they've been bankrupted, why then is it only you complaining Lu?

This sounds to me to just be an obvious ex-employee -we all know- trying to cover up for her own problems while dumping them on other people.

To the person who wrote the Rip Off report, What are you Smoking? My understanding is that you stole from the store and got caught! I've known Ada personally and business wise for more than 20 years. She has always shown people respect and kindness. I have been  doing her Accounting and Tax Preparation since the 1980's and you would think if she was a scam artist, that she wouldn't been audited by now! Apparently the person who posted this is out for revenge! Guess What? You're a Thief and showing your true colors!

You have sent thousands of dollars to these laughably fraudulent ripoff artists?  Amazing!!

   I have known Ada for a longtime, and has worked hard for what she has today!  She has a true gift from God, I do believe in the spiritual work she does,you can feel the energy she puts forth. She takes time and consideration for each individual that steps into her shop.  She has such compassion for people and feels there every need . 

  Ada wouldn't be in business all these years,  if she was some kind of scam artist.  She is on this earth for a reason,  God chose her path the day she was born to pass love and faith  and to believe all is possible in one's life. 

  Unforunately  some people have negative energy and its only spiritality demeaning to oneself.  Stop the nonsense and look at yourself.  Move on and get a life.

I am shocked and appaulled at the personal and Untrue attack on Ada and her shop.  I AM A CUSTOMER.  That infact is true and have followed Ada faithfully from her first shop on Quail St. in Albany in 1996, to the present.  Ada is a sincere and endearing individual, who helps anyone asking for help(whether or not they deserve it!)The individual who origionally filed this complaint is a former intern, who stole, solicited male customers, and may have sold drugs in Ada's shop, unbeknownst to Ada.  When Ada found out, the girl was fired.  Her name is NOT Louie at all, but                    Jocelyn Brown-Fort a convicted felon who served time in the state penatentiary for dealing drugs.  Jocelyn has made it her life's work to discredit Ada ever since she was discharged.  That is not the way to thank someone who believed in you, and gave you a chance to change your life.  I am certain that All of the derogatory statements at this web-site are mastermined by Jocelyn.

The comments defending Ada have come from loyal customers (and they are plentiful) as far away as Florida, New Jersey, and California.  Not a few friends as one comment would like you to believe! 

Ada has NEVER charged thousands of dollars for any spiritual undertaking! That is absurd! Jocelyn has done her best to poison a few people constantly calling them to spread her venom.  There is an old saying amongst the spiritual believers and that is Karma is a Bi*ch and so are you Jocelyn. Remember you reap what you sew!!That being said, my best advise is for Jocelyn, get on with your life, continue to visit your sons (both of them in jail), get off welfare, and STOP HATING!!!!!  As for Ada, she knows very well that you reap what you sew, as she just opened two beautiful new shops and is obviously thriving, and doing quite nicely for herself.  So much for Karma!

This Ada is a rip- off artist.  I went into her shop and she knew I didn't have much money and she milked me dry.  She tried to sell me all these things to make a bath up.  What she does is reel you in, then she scares you, and then she walks you to her shelves and tells you that you need this and that ... until she rings a high bill with you...Funny thing nothing she suggested ever worked. 

Man, I laugh when people say she's doing God's work..well my God is not evil and he doesn't scare people and hurt people.  This woman needs to be shut down...she is  Lucifer's daughter.  OMG could she be the Antichrist?? Look out 2012 here we come. AHHHHH.

Also, I had a tarot reading from her and she made no sense.  She likes to ring bells probably so she could queue her workers for the next rip-off scheme. 

She needs to give it up and stop breaking the law.  The animal rights activists, attorney general and the police department need to read these complaints.  This women needs to prosecuted and put in jail. 

I have known Ada for a long time, she has helped me in my darkest hour. I know who wrote this...sad that u are so damn bitter. Maybe if you were not a huge liar people would feel sorry for you. But you are the queen of liars. So how about you come after someone your own size. Stop talking trash. Ada is an honest person, she dosen't run scams. She is always on POINT.
