again, no proof. ROR readers, please read ROR's with a critical eye

AUTHOR: Meep - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 28, 2008

"Trea has numerous pseudonyms. Anyway amazing how fast 'Jennifer' responded on a Sunday, I bet if I purchased webspace from 'Jennifer' and had a problem the response would not be so fast.

Oh he has purposely kept his scams away from his blog site."

Again, the response time of his webhost in no way provides proof of the legitimacy of the webhost or Trae. They provide plenty of neutral avenues you can use to prove their existance and back Trae's claims in the mean time. It *looks* like you are discrediting them, but in reality you're just providing the same watered down bald assertions you and Dantalion always do.

To any readers of ROR regarding Trae's site or any other business (though Trae's site is in no way a business). Make sure to read the content of the posts, not just the accusations. Pick out the actual facts mentioned (in the case of Scam Guard and Dantalion, essentially none. But don't take my word for it. Search for Dantalion on ROR and read them in his own words). If those facts appear in any way damning, do a quick search to see if they are valid or even plausible. Don't be led around by the nose. You owe it to yourself as a consumer and to your pocketbook to be your own advocate.

Scammers like to think that all caps, lots of words, angry accusations, and wild conspiracy theories will be intimidating enough to sub for real facts. Don't let them be right. You're all smarter than that.

Got Proof?

AUTHOR: Meep - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 28, 2008

It doesn't matter if Scam Guard or anyone else is Dantalion. It also doesn't matter if I or anyoen else is Trae. The true identity of the individuals involved still doesn't demonstrate anything. No one has yet provided any evidence that Trae runs or is in any way connected to the sites listed. No evidence whatsoever.

Look into as many of the sites as you like. Track their owners, their friends, their parents, their parents' friends, heck, their dentist if you feel the need. None of these people will be Trae Dorn.

Dantalion's tactics work great for people running other spellcasting websites, who usually have plenty to hide in their own right. But you can't do the same to a private individual with no business to preserve.

As for a suggestion for the consumers out there, don't trust a spell caster's site. Do some research. Basic rule: if you can't find anything they talk about on wikipedia, don't give them your money. Be an intelligent consumer.

You have countless names, IDs, Paypal accounts, iffy associates and all the rest of it. It's true TRAE Dorn doesn't run 30 odd scams single handed, but he is the leader of the pack, and uses various names and addresses...

#14 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Second, and last, Response from DrakNet.

AUTHOR: Jen Lepp - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 27, 2008

Again, identification and documentation can be provided to anyone reading this report who is concerned about the identity of the owner of DrakNet via fax or email attachment. Contact information for our company by phone, email, chat, and skype is posted openly on our web site. Please note that there are procedures for reporting copyright violations of hosted web sites on our site, as well - it should probably also be noted we have received no such complaints for DMCA complaints Mr. Dorn.

Engaging in a back and forth with the compliantent in this forum is not going to solve anything - however, DrakNet is a business, and as the owner of the company for 11 years, we did not wish to have false information posted without answering the accusation. I also wanted to make sure that people were informed of a way to contact us to confirm the inaccuracy of the information should the false information presented concern them in any way.

This will be our last official response. Should any further information or accusations be made regarding my company by the original poster, that information is welcome to be brought to us directly and we will be happy to provide any documentation to refute the false statements made here, including independently monitored statistics on our support response times.

She posted about it...

AUTHOR: Trae - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 27, 2008

...because I've been posting about all of this on the client forums for Drak.net.

And actually, on the unrelated subject, yes -- if you were a drak.net client and had a problem with your website she would reply that fast. I've worked with a couple different companies over the years, and Drak has always had some of the best customer service I've seen so far.

But, again, this just gos to show how you have nothing to back up anything you say -- unless you want to claim I've somehow doctored public records in Texas (a state I've never actually been to), hacked archive.org into having an archive of old versions of Drak's homepage in there, conned the guys at Liquid Web into letting me lease very expensive servers under a "fake" name, and somehow still had time to *sleep* in there somewhere (not to mention all the scam websites you claim I'm somehow simultaneously running)... all apparently from my tiny little apartment in Northwestern Wisconsin... well, d**n.

That would be pretty damned impressive.

#11 REBUTTAL Owner of company

The Ownership of DrakNet

AUTHOR: Jen Lepp - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, October 26, 2008

While I am not the owner of the original site that this report is regarding, there is an assertion within the rebuttals that Trae Dorn is the owner of DrakNet Web Hosting.

DrakNet is a sole-proprietorship held by me, Jennifer Lepp, solely. The company is registered as a business in Travis County, Texas, and sole ownership by me can be confirmed by a public records search in the county at the County Clerk's office. DrakNet has several employees, however, none of those employees are Trae Dorn.

We are a mid-sized web hosting company hosting at current count around 2,080 web sites, which can be confirmed independently at webhosting.info looking up the company name "drak.net".

Mr. Dorn is a long term client of ours and pays us a fee to host his web sites, as do two thousand other clients. "witchcraftspellsnow.com" is not one of those sites, nor are any of the sites that we host for Mr. Dorn associated with "fees for spells" in any way, shape, or form.

Assertions that DrakNet is involved with any of Mr. Dorn's sites beyond simply being his chosen web host, or that Mr. Dorn is in any way associated with DrakNet beyond his simply being one of a couple of thousand clients, are false and can be documented as false.

Thank you.

This is hilarious.

AUTHOR: Trae - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, October 26, 2008

Are you actually trying to claim I own Drak.net? That is downright hilarious. You're just grasping at straws at this point.

My only connection to Drak is that I'm their customer. That's it. But five minutes on google could tell you that.

#8 REBUTTAL Individual responds

First off...

AUTHOR: Trae - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, October 25, 2008

If you think there was no backlash, clearly you haven't been paying attention.

Brittney Reynolds of Fastspells.com (besides shutting down most of her sites) called and threatened my webhost. You can read about it in my webhost's blog here: http://www.drak.net/news/2008/09/17/when-youre-controversial/

Secondly, Tasha has responded, by saying that I'm wrong and sticking to her story. Maybe not the best defense, but it is one.

Dantalion instead chose to start a bizarre hate and defamation campaign based on absolutely nothing other than conjecture and lies. As I am rather certain that *you* are actually Dantalion though, you know that already.

U R WET Trae Dorn he, he, he, he... Muttley

AUTHOR: Scam Guard - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Friday, October 24, 2008

Trae Dorn you have exposed three spell casting websites so far: Frater Dantalion, Fastspells.com and Tasha, only FD has fired back at you, because he is a real person, and any real person would, that is human nature. The link is not on Tasha's website and you know it, Tasha's response to her ROR exposure would cause her clients to demand a refund, that's why it is not linked and she is almost friendly towards you on that page, because you wrote it.

I wonder what information a private eye would come up with if they were to investigate whether or not the characters you claim are behind fastspells.com actually exist. That information alone would prove whether you are trustworthy.

Trae Dorn, you have pissed into the wind and got wet.

This is ridiculous.

POSTED: Friday, October 24, 2008

This post is most likely made by "Frater Dantalion" of black-magic-spells.co.uk, as you'll find similarly worded diatribes against me all over Rip off Report.

For those who don't know what's going on, I (Trae Dorn) write articles critical of online spellcasters. Dantalion, an online spellcaster, has decided to start this bizarre campaign of defamation in an attempt to both put down his competition and discredit me for a while. His modus operandi is to claim that I run every spellcasting website he can find.

And it's getting downright ridiculous. (You can read more about my interaction with this person here: http://www.trhonline.com/article.pl?1223311810 )

Back to the subject at hand, I wrote an article about WitchcraftSpellsNow.com here: http://www.trhonline.com/article.pl?1224610404

Tasha Palladino, the person who runs WitchCraftSpellsNow.com wrote a response to it here: http://www.witchcraftspellsnow.com/response.htm

Now, I have the link because Tasha e-mailed it to me (although one of my readers also e-mailed it to me, so it must be linked *somewhere*). This is not out of the blue since the original reason I even knew her site existed was because she made the mistake of *e-mailing me* in the response to random Rip off Reports filed by Dantalion claiming that she and I are the same person.

Finally, Don't ever buy spells online. They're all scam artists.

And apparently Frater Dantalion of black-magic-spells.co.uk has nothing else to do with his day than harass me.
