East Baton Rouge School Board Segregates Baton Rouge Louisiana

This school system does not provide equal education for all kids. The application says its mandatory to check off race and only one race. So that leaves out multicultural kids rights to choose all their races.

It also is mandatory that you bring in proof of income to help them ween out the students who get free lunch. If you DO NOT check off free lunch they want proof of income showing you make more than what the free lunch is. To ensure no "poor kids" slip in.

A couple years the school board superintendent was at the casino, she was gambling our tax money as she often was spotted there, any way this particular night she was escorted by security for being too drunk. She also cursed out security in an angry rage ready and willing to beat him down, God Bless America, we need it.

So now they have weened out color and income, here comes the Magnet Program which is so air tight. They give you 2 application periods in a year, say they do not do the lottery til both application periods are complete, then you get a letter saying the program is full before the whole application process is over.
Then why have a second application process?

Bottom line if you are not a who's who? The right color or income they have schools for you! They will make sure you wake up at 4 am to bus you far out of your neighborhood and send you to schools that are more like mini penitentiaries.

I heard stories of the school board hiding complaints from parents, kids having sex in bathrooms elementary and up, boy on boy, girl on girl. One of my old clients said her son went to the bathroom and heard to boys in the stall she reported it and nothing happened.Children getting raped by other kids. The teachers at most of the schools just pay attention to the ones they like, so if your child has a learning disability be prepared for them to always get yelled at and sent to the office.

They only have 3 high schools out here one is a magnet program, 2 middle schools that are so air tight to get in 1 that you would not send your dog to. And about 2 elementary schools that are not magnet( the lottery) schools.
