CI Host Fraudulent Billing By CI Host Irving Texas

CI Host provided me with a dedicated server for two years.

I changed servers and canceled my account through there agent and online. At the time of the cancellation the agent indicated that nothing more was owed and the account was rendered inactive.

End of store(I thought) 17 months later I received a bill from a collection agency, Escallate LLC for $1125.62. I received no communications from CI Host during this time, even though they had all my contact information. I find out that they tried to automatically bill my credit card and it was declined( wrong expiration date). But they say they continued service for the next year, even though our agreement was to pay one year in advance. Who has ever heard of a business that will sell or provide service when they don't get paid. If they had good business and accounting practices they would have contacted me as soon as the payment was denied and we possibly could have resolved this.

I have disputed all charges. CI Host will not back up these charges (web server logs). They just keep telling Escallate to collect. Escallate is now threatening me with a negative credit report. I have been attempting to deal with Escallate. There agent listened to my plight and said she would negotiate with CI Host. That was two weeks ago and no call back. Escallate just keep sending demand letters.

I view this attempt to collect on a account that was closed as fraud. This is a scam by CI Host to boost revenues! They send Escallate to do their dirty work. I wish I could collectively get all persons with this same problem together and file a class action suit against both CI Host and Escallate. CI Host is a company that I advise all people to stay completely away from. There is only misery waiting for you dealing with this web host.
