This place called me at work back in March claiming that they were collecting a debt for MoneyandMore, which I did have a loan with. I set up a payment plan with them. A month later MoneyandMore contacted me via email regarding this loan. I told them that I was on a payment plan. They sent me a letter in the may stating that CPS and it's affililates did not have a agreement for them to collect debt from their payday loan customers. I emailed MoneyandMore back asking "HOW DID CPS EVEN GET MY INFORMATION" "HOW DID THEY KNOW THAT I EVEN HAD A LOAN WITH THEM". I never heard a thing from them. Not by phone, email, or postal mail. CPS is talked to me. They told me that MoneyandMore was going out of business, they said that MoneyandMore operate out of an apartment. CPS continued to say that MoneyandMore was just trying to get extra money out of their customers because they know they were going to be shut down, she went on to say that CPS was going to sue MoneyandMore for breach of contract. They offered me a settlement of 161.00. I owed MoneyandMore 315.00. I had already paid, 100.00. Last month, MoneyandMore got another collection company to collect the same debt from me. United States Credit Agency has been calling me for the last month. When they couldn't a hold of me by my cell phone, they started calling my job. I went off on the woman who called. I told her I paid that debt and could prove it. She asked me to fax it to them and gave me their fax number. I think their a fraud too. I'm just going to file bankrupcty. I feel so stupid. I got myself into this crap, because of my mother and a illness I had. Nothing is worth selling yourself to these devils. Nothing! I will never make these mistakes again. Not even for my mom. I'm sorry, but I'll let her fall on her face, before I get myself into this kind of sitution again. CPS talked a good game. They told me that they were on my credit report and that you have to have a license to do so. I've always been able to get in touch with someone when I call them. The only troble I had out of them was getting a paid in full letter from the chic I always talked to. Once I paid, she wouldn't call me back. My coworker called them pretending to be a lawyer and got a paid in full letter out of them that way. It only indicated the settlement amount was paid in full. I asked for one indicating the entire amount. I really think I am going to sue MoneyandMore. Some how these companies got my information. I know one thing, I'm not paying United States Credit Agency a dime.
