Cylon, LLC Never heard of them before! Nationwide

Thank you guys for reporting this because I had NO CLUE what was going on when this appeared on my T-Mobile bill on 1/10/09. I called the number listed in one of the emails on this site and they state you can email them at "cancelalerts.com" I tried to do that but it said my cell phone number was not listed. I emailed their customer service department any way. T-Mobile credited me the $9.99 as a show of good faith. I'll watch my February bill for more charges. This is the email I got in return from Cylon, LLC:

Gamer Data provides a service consisting of mobile text-message alerts and supporting web portals associated with Video Games, and Video game cheat codes. The fee for this service is $9.99 a month. The service we provide is not for ringtones or any games downloaded over the phone, and does not require internet access on your phone.

If you would like to cancel the text alert service to your phone this can be done immediately online at: http://www.cancelalerts.com Cancelling through this website will immediately stop all further texts and charges from being sent to your phone. (With the exception of one final text confirming the service has been unsubscribed)

Additionally, you can cancel the service through your phone at any time by texting the word STOP to short code 41463
