I signed on my account today and noticed an unauthorized charge to my account in the amount of $38.83 from a company named EWC PAYMENTS PTY LTD. I called my bank (Bank of America) and I explained that I did not authorize this transaction and I do not know who they are. They said that it seems that my card has been compromised and they placed a block on my card and will send my a new one. The transaction is pending at this time and once it posts to the account, I must call them to file a claim. As far as how long it takes to get my money back, I am not sure. I am hoping very quickly. I will keep you posted.
