Just wanted all the future consumers to know that FedEx is a rip off. I purchased a phone from Verizon wireless and it was sent via overnight exprees. I was told it would arrive between 12pm and 3pm next day because my previous phone service was transferred to this new phone. Well the lazy driver came to my home, never got out of the truck and reported that he could not deliver the package because there wasn'y anyone home. This was a complete lie, I never left my home because I was waiting for the package to aaeive. After calling the customer service center, I was told that he did not deliver the package beacuse he saw a dog on my porch. I don't have a dog, and I don't beleive that he saw one either. He then drove the package all the way back across town and dropped it off at his service center. The customer service respresentative instructed the dispatch to have the driver redelier the package and she told me I should recieve it before 3pm 9noting that I work inside San Antonio, but don't live there which is a 30 mile drive without my cell phone: purpose of it being overnighted). So I get a phone call from the local office telling me they are not going to delier the package becuase the driver had already drove 20 miles back to ther service center and dropped it off, and they did not have any available drivers to bring it back to me, so if I wanted it that day, I had to get into my car and drive 20 miles to them and pick it up, although I hd paid for it to be delivered to me express service. I spoke to the resolution team and they were so sorry but they could not resolve this issue, I would just hae to wait or drive out my gas ($3.86 a gallon X 20 miles=$7 on top of the $10 charge for the package to be expressed to me). this is how they treat thier paying customers, so to all those who want to have a package delivered to you next day or express next day use UPS or USPS. FedEx does not care about their customers and have yet to reinburse me the costs they profited from for doing absolutely nothing.

Tammie, I have had the same experience with FedEX. I won't use them anymore!

Tammie,

You are absolutely correct about FedEX. They SUCK!!

I have had the same experience more than once. It comes down to the company forcing an unreasonable route on the driver. That is why they drive like maniacs.

I will not do business with anyone who only offers FedEX shipping, and I make it known.

FedEX sucks. I will not ever use them again.

I guess they would be OK for business delivery, but for home delivery, FORGET IT!

Go Brown!

Agreed

I've had the same thing happen on two occasions with the FedEx in Wisconsin. Both times I paid quite a bit extra for over night delivery only to have them not deliver at all....or deliver outside of the delivery times claiming no one was home. I then had to drive back into Madison to pick it up.

I wont use em.....they byte the big one
