I went online to book a smoking suite. Clicked on the best western and was given choice of smoking not smoking room. Clicked smoking.
Recieved confirmation of a smoking suite. When arriving at hotel , was told it was 100% non smoking and they would not give me a refund.
Called hotels.com and requested refund. Got a foreigner as a cust svc. rep who kept me on the line for 24 minutes, then hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor that spoke english.
What a loss of $90. We went to microtel, at least they like smokers. Sick of being treated like a criminal and ripped off. This is the absolute last time I use a 3rd party to book a room. BE very wary everyone.

You chose to take a $90 loss instead of not choking for one evening. You must have a sooty pair of lungs.
