I have done business with Lighthouse Newfoundlands for years. Lisa is a very reputable breeder, she stands behind all her dogs no matter what. This woman who posted  both ripoff reports is a not a reputable breeder and would not stand behind a dog she sold. I would recommend Lighthouse Newfoundlands to any person wanting to buy a Newfoundland Dog !! She has wonderful pups and dogs..

 

    I read with interest your unsigned rebuttle...If as you say this person is long known to you, then you cannot possibly be without knowledge that she lies without concience..She lied about the condition of the dog, firstly, as was evidenced by her own vet and Dr Keller at OFA, whom I talked to.. Secondly, she refused to send me anything at all supporting her claims. And still has not.  As I said before, I repeatedly asked her to send the dog back for credit...regardless..but was refused. Thirdly, you may be right that she did not kill the dog.. I now have reason to believe that she dropped the dog off at a shelter after hours, with a note saying he had "Multiple skeletal  issues". I intend to DNA said dog, to prove the disgusting lengths she will go to to "Have the last word" . If she is your friend (and I thought she was mine) Honey, you don't need enemies...She will get you to soon enough. Let it be known that we do have an attorney, Ms. Thomas, and Doug and I will not tolerate anymore of your libel and false allegations.

You did NOT talk to Dr. Keller at OFA.  In addition, I have several e-mails from people who bought dogs from you in the past, stating how poorly you treated them when they clearly had problems with pups you sold them; exactly the same way you are treating us.  The problem with you, Julie Thomas, is that you think you are a veterinarian, and you are not.  You have your own ideations and choose to ignore the problems in your lines, and most importantly, you treat your puppy buyers horribly.

This is a FALSE Rip Off Report that you made up, and you know it.  Everything that you have written is false.

Maybe you should spend more time taking care of your dogs instead of playing games on the Internet.  Also, I suggest you rethink your vaccine protocol.  Giving four sets of vaccines before they are eight weeks of age?  Who does that?  Not anyone that I know, certainly.  You did not offer "numerous times" to take the puppy back.  You can't be serious: you hung up up on me and Doug SEVERAL times.  That's how you chose to deal with it.  At this point, I don't think anyone cares about the circus you are creating on this Web site.

My mistake for ever trusting you.  You have no idea how much pain and suffering you have caused.

When you read these reports it's hard to tell what is true and what is not.  Anyone can lie.  Personally, I do not have any experience with Lisa or her newfs other than one phone call.  I do have experience with Julie and can sadly report that it is true that she vaccinates her puppies fully prior to shipping them.  I know because when we took our puppy from her to the vet, he gave the needed vaccination for his age.  When we got him home, he threw up and I was extremely concerned so I called Julie.  She replied "That dog is fully vaccinated!" and then proceeded to lecture and yell at me about housebreaking when I was more concerned about my puppies health.  Over the next four years I avoided Julie, but we greatly enjoyed our beautiful newf.  He passed suddenly at age four and in an effort to recieve condolence I emailed Julie to let her know what an awesome dog he was.  She didn't even remember me, so I emailed her info and pictures. Her response was that he "was beautiful."  and "He should have been shown".  He was in truth an awesome pet and loved being a pet.  We wish we had had a breeder who understood that and could share our joys and our sorrows. The brief time I spoke with Lisa on the phone I could tell that she was still in great pain over the loss of her puppy and I do not believe that she could have done anything to harm him.

 

   Since you have also chosen to remain un named, you are also hard to believe.. I do not yell at people....never have...there is no reason for it.. I did hang up on Lisa, after I found out she lied to me from her own vet, and after she refused to send me any kind of vet report, and still has not. She choose instead to make my life as miserable as she could. For what reason I do not know. I liked Lisa and thought she was my friend. I was totally shocked at her total unreasonableness in this whole affair. I believe that this stems from my catching her in a lie...IF anyone (the unnamed poster) could have Lisa send her the report from OFA, which she will not send to me, I can forward you her email of lies. I absolutely did talk to Dr Keller at OFA...call him...No breeder in the world is going to credit someone for a dog they say died from unknown causes, and not send a report as to the prior skeletal problems...why ? Just publish it right here, Lisa...for all to see.. Then we will see who is lying.. What hurts my feelings more is for the second poster to say I yelled at her...I am always thrilled for my puppies to go into good homes and be so loved...thank you..I might not recognize somone after 4 years without going to records. who could? Maybe you should buy your next puppy from Lisa...but go read www.newfiepuppies.org first....not just my story. If Lisa want to get a lawyer....go for it.. It is not slander if it is true..besides, I was not the first poster...She started all this...under an assumed name.. I have never sold a puppy to a  "Kristeenah" in my life, and certainly not Colorado.. In addition the bitch she claims the puppy was out of has not had puppies for 1 1/2 years..That is how SHE started all this and I have the records to prove it.  IN addition..I believe she dropped said dog off at a shelter after hours, with a note saying he had 'multiple skeletal issues." I am getting this dog DNA'd and will get this streightened out once and for all.The puppy had a 'loose right hip' common in a six month old. I think lisa missed out on a great dog....how about you..."un named" who chooses to join in with no information? How was your dog ? My vaccine protocol is a result of an experience I had years ago when an individualo walked in the door unannounced, brought parvo in on their shoes, and I lost a whole litter. I don't mind if I 'waste vaccine' to make sure they are immune... No one knows the mothers immunity without a titer test..I have a right to follow the regimen I feel is right and has been successful for me.

I have 3 dogs from Lisa at Lighthouse newfoundland's and they are just beautiful healthy pups with wonderful temperaments. I am so fortunate that I found a breeder like Lisa and not a nut case breeder like This Julie at windancer, selling sick puppies that die at 6 or 8 months old and goes on ripoff to try to hurt another breeder instead of just refunding these poor people their money for her screwed up breeding program. It saddens me to see Lisa caught up in such a mess when she is wonderful to deal with and rest assured you will never be disappointed in a Lighthouse Newfoundland Pup!!

I don't know this Julie but from what I read you seriously need to STOP breeding and leave Lisa alone and seek mental help, even your reports are up and down, try keeping your lies straight and quit posing as other people to hurt Lisa, I hope her laywers put you away for good, at least in jail you will receive the mental help you need and 3 balanced meals a day and there will be no more sick puppies you can breed

 Lisa continues to post reports by herself under a host of assumed named glorifying her kennel and dogs....please just check around the internet and breeders to discover Lisa's horrible reputation. People never cease to amaze me, but this woman takes the cake.
