TML Transit Inc Henderson Transportation Company screws its employees, Addison, Illinois

I was employed by TML Transit Inc,they are a "family" run LTL trucking business. I found that they run there businees by promising everything,but fail to follow through. at the time i was employed by them as a company driver they were very tight on fuel purchases $400.00 a day in 24hr period,if you did not budget your fuel you were SOL. Also company drivers were responsible for tolls.repairs,etc. then they lowered the fuel purchases to $300.00 a day to save on expenses. My biggest complaint i had with them is they REFUSED to take out taxes which they informed me they would do,but didn't. i got screwed at tax time. paychecks were never paid on time. pay day was on tuesday,but usually they would pay you whenever money was in bank,they were ALWAYS juggling finances to stay afloat.  In January of this year,while i was on home time the owner of company, Tony Blankenship, informed me that i had 15minutes to empty my company truck out and give keys to a driver he sent to Pick-up my truck.  I was NEVER given a reason for termination,nor have i been given anything in writing stating why,they also withheld final settlement/paycheck stating i was being charged with vehicle recovery $600.00. i only found out a month later through a outside recruiting service that TML Transit Inc had filed for Bankruptcy w/o informing any drivers or anybody. now it turns out they are still operating out of same facility under company name of Henderson Transport.  I have tried to take legal action against them but legal aid can;t, other attorney's want a retainer to help. I'm still unemployed since then,nobody seems to want to go after them,don't know WHY!!!
