DAVISON DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT Davison ripoff highly supported by the BBB, that was a big mistake! Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
We started this about a 1 1/2 years ago, and we thought it was going to be the answers to our financial problems. I came up with a idea and my husband supported me to submit it online to Davison.
Sean Jones called me a day later and told me how it was a great idea and he had talked to his mom who runs a daycare, she thought my idea would solve a huge problem. Davison was going to get my idea into Wal-marts, Shopkos etc. and millions of homes.
All Davison wanted was 10% of whatever we got. They would do all the leg work for me and of course I would have to invest alittle but I would stand to make alot out of it.
The first sum we had to invest was $685.00, I was skeptical but my very supportive husband reminded how smart I was and we would be able to give our 3 little boys financial stabilty.
Sean Jones kept every phone appointment, answered every question, sent plenty of flyers supporting how many clients they had helped financially.
After several months the next sum of money we had to put up was $1,000.00 towards a $10,980.00 retainer. It took us several months to find someone to help invest in this. Among the way we talked to a relative who checked them out and found they were not highly supported by the BBB.
My husband and myself questioned Sean Jones about this and he was quick to answer that there had been problems in the past and the company was fined and since seperated themselves from Davison Design. He even sent us a copy of the report and reasurred us not to worry. We had come so far and was so close it would be crazy not to continue.
Finally we got a family to invest the rest of the $10,980.00 that was left. Now we are dealing with the Licensing Department and are being asked to invest another $335.00 after being told we wouldn't have to. The first Corporation they approached was a door corporation and I couldn't see the connection with my idea. We were assured they were the largest and could pay the most. What we got was a no thank you. It doesn't seem this next one is any better.
I am so hurt. I found this site way too late. We don't know what to do at this point or if there is anything we can do. I have read and reread all the paperwork they sent and all the pictures that now seem to be off the internet and worthless. I look at our little boys and want to scream, I feel like such a sucker.
I guess I am just wondering what to do. I am calling tomarrow and try to talk to the licensing department and ask for my money back but at this point it seems hopeless.
