200 m/s latency for a internet connection. With this it will time out and have slow speeds and not function correctly. Insight now timewarner has this to say.

Subject: RE: Doug,     The IP Address that you are seeing the higher ping time below is one of our core routers. This router takes on all traffic for a portion of our network, and can sometimes have a higher return time. This time is still not considered as unacceptable, and from what I see is not consistently this high. ICMP packets are lowest priority and will always be processed behind all other traffic, which is why sometimes you see higher ping times. Our network is a best effort.Based on what you are sending me now, I am not seeing any latency or issues. I would need more examples of a consistently higher ping time.    Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Thank you,
