This company advertises a CD course for free. They then charge $19.95 for the CD set and take your credit card information, which was OK with me. Then, here comes the good part. They say the course is free, all you have to do is report to them the results of your experience with the course. Once you receive the course, they charge your account $109 and inform you that there will be 3 payments of $109, one payment in each of the next 3 months.

When you read the fine print, you find that the form to be filled out is to be done completely, after you have taken the course. But the charges start coming before one could reasonably be expected to complete the course.The questions are very specific and detailed.  They say that they, ond only they, will judge whether the response is acceptable. There is a long list of reasons they will reject the answers, making almost impossible to complete the long dcoument correctly (according to their rules).

The survey was to be completed online. However, when I went to the suggested website, it was not in service. I received an email that the survey would have to be filled out on paper and mailed in, since the website was not functioning. I did not receive the survey and could not find it. Since the survey was either not received and/or not acceptable (according to them), my account was charged $109, with two more monthly charges to come.

I found no way to argue against the charge, so I disputed the charge and had it cancelled. They immediately sent the account to a Collection Agency. While the terms of the agreement may be technically correct, they have made it almost impossible and terribly time-consuming to meet their criteria. The whole process is intended to deceive the customer into thinking that the whole cost of the program is free or at most $19.95.

We would like to begin by apologizing for the frustrations that you have experienced regarding your Online Feedback Survey and also the billing on your account.
 
We do acknowledge that there was an unforeseen technical issue with our website that prevented consumers from gaining access to their Online Feedback Survey.  In an attempt to rectify this issue, an additional e-mail was sent to explain the situation along with an attached copy of the Feedback Survey. We are sorry to hear that you did not receive this email.  We would, however, be happy to provide you with a new feedback survey via e-mail.  We just ask that you simply contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-460-2235, Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, EST.  You may also send an email request to service@legacypublishingcompany.com.
 
For clarification on billing, consumers are made aware that we do require an upfront shipping and processing fee plus three additional monthly payments of $109.00, each at 30, 60 and 90 days from the date of order, when purchasing The Total Transformation Program on the Feedback Survey promotion. This is to ensure that consumers are invested in the process and in returning their completed survey within the allotted time frame. We strive to present these terms and the cost of our programs as clearly as possible to avoid any misunderstandings when consumers are placing their order. These terms and conditions are also stated clearly on our website at the time of purchase and again on the Commonly Asked Questions insert that is included with each shipment.

The Total Transformation Program Feedback Survey promotion does require that surveys are fully completed and that every question is answered, with nothing left blank, in order to qualify for a full product price refund for The Total Transformation Program. It is our intention that these questions are very specific and do ask for detailed answers since the feedback we receive is vital to us—we are continually trying to improve and create programs that will give the most benefit to families.
 
Ultimately, the pace in which the consumer chooses to complete the program is entirely up to the consumer. The Lehman's recommend that parents/guardians implement 1 lesson per week, since there are specific action steps at the end of each lesson that need to be followed in the week ahead. The program was designed this way in order to help parents apply the information learned to their family’s situation. There are 9 lessons in the program and consumers are given 180 days (6 months) starting the date of delivery to complete their Feedback Survey.
 
We believe that the benefits that come from implementing the tools and techniques in The Total Transformation far outweigh the amount of time and effort invested. Our core mission is to provide parents with a program that can really make a positive difference with their family. When this is accomplished, the end result is priceless. Many parents also use the Feedback Survey as a tool to cement what they are learning in the program—it can serve similarly to a “study guide,” or place to document your thoughts and experiences with the program. If this is an option for you and your family, please consider it as you progress through the program.
