Maria NEVER sells sick and/or 'deformed' birds. I've known Maria, been to her home and have one of her birds, a beautiful green Quaker.

Ms. Dawe is registered on reputable breeder sites and has hundreds of satisfied, happy bird owners such as myself --- locally and from around the country.

Why this ONE person (who is known for a fact to use many aliases in order to file several bogus 'complaints' here), and and is known by other reputable avian breeders for doing exactly what he/she accuses Ms. Dawe of doing---and much worse, persists on filing complaints that frankly, have NO bearing on truth, is beyond me.

A lot of breeders may use pictures to depict the various breeds of birds they raise and sell. This
practice that isn't unusual in the industry. That stated....Ms. Dawe posts actual pictures of her birds from hatch date to ready to sell date. Ms. Dawe doesn't just breed birds---she hand raises them to be healthy, sweet, friendly and well-behaved pets.

Anyone with any amount of intelligence who reads the complainant can clearly tell by the tone and misspelled words that the individual is not close to being a professional, which is a huge red flag that speaks to their lack of credibility.

I added this rebuttal only to bring attention to the fact that any professional worth their 'salt' would not go about doing what the complainer does: write in red capital letters; endless repetition of the same phrases, gratuitous usage of exclamation points and rambles-on sounding very much like a grade school student. (One only has to see his/her numerous past attention seeking posts that prove my point).

Who'd think to buy a bird (or any kind of animal for that matter), from the complainant?

If you're looking for healthy, lovingly hand-raised birds, Mariasbirds.com should be at the top of your list. She's a kind, sincere and as genuine a person you will meet and get to know as I have.
 
I respectfully suggest that the complainant re-direct their energy by living a life that's more positive, for the sake of his/her own karma. What he/she's been putting out to the universe will come back to haunt in a big way.

Or better said in terms they may understand: give it a rest already!

I am getting a bird from Maria, and she has been awesome. She cares for the birds so much. She is there to answer any and all questions I have.

This report is a joke. The person posting it is the one guilty of all the things she is accusing Maria of doing. Maria is a very honest person and has heathy birds with no reason to steal pictures from others.

I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy. If we decide to get another one in the future I already know who we will go to!

I've personally known Maria for over two years and have one of her birds that she hand-fed and hand trained, a lovely and sweet Quaker parrot named Sammie. I've been to her home, spoken with her several times and we email and text each other often. PLEASE NOTE: I'm a mature woman, 58,yrs. old.

I'm a member in good standing with the Erie County SPCA, and support animal charities. I have the respect of my community and that of several local politicians and law enforcement. My 'resum', is impeccable.

I know what animal abusers and rip-off artists look like, and folks, if any of you reading the nasty and LIBELOUS and SLANDEROUS words of a woman who calls herself by several different names: "Michelle Fazio", "Robin Schulder" and "Lisa Risi", to name three, you have to ask yourself just who is the one who's the fake here....and it's not Maria Dawe.

Maria, who is much younger than myself, is who I'd call an "old soul"---she has the maturity of a person much older than her young age would indicate. She runs a fair and square operation and would NEVER sell, steal or otherwise cheat anyone. She adores her animals, whether they're birds, dogs, cats or lizards. She literally would not hurt a fly, let alone furry or feathered.

Her ratings on the Internet, particularly on her web site:mariasbirds.com, are genuine and sincere.

If I could, I'd file a class-action suit against the woman who is saying these LIBELOUS and SLANDEROUS things about Maria, and shut her down----the trouble is, locating a scam-artist is akin to nailing jello to a wall---it's nearly impossible.

IF "Michelle"/"Robin"/"Lisa", et al were an honest vendor, she wouldn't have the numerous complaints for fraud, cashing checks for animals she never had AND for selling sick or nearly dead animals...let alone have all those "aka's".

The bottom line is that Maria Dawe dba "Mariasbirds.com" is one of THE most caring, nurturing and loving breeder of birds. When I went to her home to take my Sammie home, she was petting him the entire time and Sammie was loving it---I almost felt bad for separating them, so that's one reason why I've kept in touch with Maria, and take Sammie for grooming, so she could see for herself how well he's doing.

One last thing: Dr. Jay Geasling of the Sheridan Animal Hospital has checked-out MANY of Maria's birds and has nothing but kind words and an A+ exam rating for any of her birds he's seen. Believe THAT! Someone who abuses animals or allegedly sells deformed or sick birds won't bother going to an avian Veterinarian...period. I'm guessing loudmouth "Michelle"/"Robin"/"Lisa" doesn't...

Maria has NOTHING to hide, believe me! I'd do business with her again and again knowing that I'm going to get a loving, sweet, HEALTHY, QUALITY bird, if only I had the budget and space!

So "Michelle"/"Lisa"/"Robin" and whoever else you call yourself, you can spout off all you want, your credibility, (such as you imagine it to be), means nothing to EVERY happy and healthy bird Maria has raised, as well as to the homes of the people Maria's birds have gone to live.

So please, unless you have a bona-fide, LEGITIMATE complaint that you can back up in a court of law, stop your nonsense. You're wasting valuable space for legitimate RipOff reports.

Look up Maria. Contact her. Check out the real feedback on her site and on FaceBook. Buy with confidence and know exactly what you're getting from an honest, registered breeder with a great reputation and the backing of her customers and her veterinarian on record. You'll NEVER BE SORRY!

Maria is the single most educated person I have ever met on birds.   When I first met Maria I wasn't sure what type of bird I wanted for my family.  My previous bird experience had only been with tiels and quakers.  Maria took the time to go over all different breeds of birds and how they might fit with us.  She had plenty of birds thast were alot more explensive that she could have talked me into at any point and I would have gone for.   I went to her house a couple of times to look at various breeds they were ALWAYS healthy and the same bird listed as available online.   In the end I opted for a regular green quaker.  Maria has made this whole experience a pleasure!!

I am a customer of Marias, I have purchased numerous birds from her. She has always been very helpful. My parrots came to me shipped very professionally, in a clean crate with food and water. They were exactly as described and were healthy. I would purchase from her again and recommend her to others.

Whoever is making lies up about her has serious problems maria is who she says she is and she is a wonderful person. all of the birds she has listed are her REAL BIRDS !!!!

in the future maybe adding watermarks to the photos can prevent theft of pictures and can help prevent theses false accusations ! it is horrible that a great business woman like maria can be publicly slandered by the real con artist , personally i suggest legal action be looked into !!!!

health guarantees for her happy healthybirds, plenty of photo updates on her babies till they are ready to go to their new homes and also offers continued support to customers even after they have taken their bird home ...her feedback from REAL customers speaks for itself !!

This is nonsense!!  Maria's birds are hers Im actually going again today to pick up my 4th parrot. I have been dealing with her for over a year now and she is very sincere, honest and clean. Her birds are healthy and live in a loving environment. Please leave her alone. Find drama elsewhere.

I'm going to be having my lawyer look into this person posting this stuff. :o) we got her name that's all we need. 

Maria's birds has a good rep and it will stay that way. If you want to truly know how she is why don't you just call her yourself and don't listen to these " children " that have nothing better to do with their time then to falsely accuse someone of something that is not true just because they got caught doing something illegal.
