 I had the misfortune of using this company from March 2013 to August 2013. Things were off to a bad start immediately when I tried to set up utilities for the new condo I had rented. The utility technicians came to turn on/instal utilities, but were unable to since access to these utilities were locked in a maintance shed. REMAX isn't open on the weekends, so I had to wait for Monday to ask for the keys. I had to go get the keys myself on Thursday after they located them, and wait an additional 5 days for the technicians to come turn on the utilities. I had no hot water or cable TV/internet for 11 days. They could have saved me several days of pain by telling me this information from the get go.

When my oven broke in April, they were less than helpful. The electronic button that raises the temperature of the oven was broken. So the whole thing was useless until I wanted to cool something at or below 350 degrees. When I told remax that I only need 1 button replaced, they told me the repair guy would call ME for more information. When he called, I had to give him a model number which wasn't anywhere to be found. I had to spend hours on google to find it. He said he'd call me back to schedule a day he could come fix it. Never called me back.

Two weeks later I call REMAX and leave several voice mails (because they do not answer their phone unless it's the first of the month when rent is due). They assumed the repairs were made and called back to tell me the owners authorized a whole new oven to be delivered. Only one button was broken, it didn't warrent a whole new button. When I told them this they said it was better for all parties. I had to stay home all day on a Sunday waiting for the delivery peoples 4 hour delivery window.

One day in early July, I have no water. None whatsoever. It's 108 degrees outside and I don't know what to do. It's a Saturday so I call REMAX's emergency after hours maintance phone number. Nobody answers so I leave a message saying "I have no water and it needs to be addressed, it's seriosuly hot outside. Please call me back." Normally I'd deal with it myself but water isn't a ultity I am responsible for at this condo. I didn't know if the owner hadn't paid their bill, or if it was an expected outage or what. I never got a phone call back. You think an emergency line would at the very least acknowlege your phone call. Water was off for around 24 hours, never found out why.

They wouldn't accept rent early. It had to be paid no earlier than the 1st, the day it was due. They said if I had paid even 1 days early, it would make their books messy which I guess they either didn't know how to fix or refused to fix it.

To this day I am still waiting for my security deposit to be refunded. Kendra told me they have 21 days to issue a security deposit refund, and it's been far past that now. I moved out August 5th and it's now September 12th. I have been lied to on the phone saying it was sent out over 2 weeks ago, only to have that phone call contridicted via email from Jenni saying she is still working on it.

This company has a case of having the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. They don't follow through or communicate with each other and it causes nothing but problems for the customers. It's also very frustrating calling them all hours of the day trying to get in contact with them. As another reviewer stated on a Yelp! review, "Just pay your rent and leave us alone!" very accurately illustrates their business model.
