Content: I just purchased the DC-510T 12.0MP 2.4-inch TFT LCD Camera/Camcorde. I absolutely love the camera, but it appears that there is something wrong with it. When I turn the flash on and attempt to make a picture the camera shuts off. The red light on the front of the camera flashes as if it is about to take a shot, but then the flash retracts and the camera shuts off. Is there something that I can troubleshoot at home to fix this, or do I have a defective product.
The other features all seem to work fine, I can shoot pictures just fine without the flash.

Not acceptable! I bought a product with the expectation that I would receive it in working order. If it was not, I should not be responsible to fix it. Good customer service would have ensure the product was in working order before it was shipped, since it was not (and I realize that is not always in your control) I am now inconvenienced, and without
a product for another couple of months (it took 20+ days to get the product, I can only imagine what time will be involved to return it) you should at least take the ownership to send a new working product and absorb the cost that I am going to incur to return it.

My order # is DD. Please provide me the return address. Also note that I think it is a lousy practice that I am already inconvenienced to have to mail this and wait even longer for replacement item and you expect me to pay the shipping cost. None of this would have happened if you had sent a working item to begin with. Please be advised that if the replacement item is not in perfect working order I will post my concerns online for your future customers to read!

This wasmailed on 01-09-2012. A foreign tracking # was not available thru the USP, however they advise that the package can be tracked via Customs Form # CWUS
