Some reports make mention of a regulatory settlement back several years ago with a different company that sold a completely different product line. It was believed by government regulators that this company fell under the classification of a franchise. The owners never operated it as a franchise and disagreed with this opinion. However, they complied with the requirements and paid the required fine without any court findings of wrongdoing or admission of a law violation. Note: On April 6, 2006, government regulators publicly announced their proposal that business opportunity companies would no longer fall under the requirements of this franchise rule due to the burden imposed on business opportunity sellers.

My Story is Short and Sweet... unlike the Stale Candy in my Garage... Why is it Stale you may ask... I Purchased a Fifty machine package from 1-800 Vending... I actually thought I negotiated well... I paid $8500 for Fifty Triple head machines... As it turned out I would not have paid $850 for all Fifty if I knew the truth first.
Oh... $1200 shipping was added after the fact, even thought I specifically asked and they said it was included. They took 5 weeks to get!! There Crap... The Canisters which are supposed to be interchangable.. Ha.. Try and move one, from one machine to another... Good Luck... Oh do you know how to stain wood... Those are not finished well... But the bottom Line is... I was told I could profit over $4500 a month... So I spent $1200 at Sams Club for product as instructed... that was 6 months ago...
The Locating Company which they recommended... Has been there for me to keep rotating my machines... Well I am on the phone with them daily... my fifty machines have been in a total of 184 differnt locations...(I Keep great records) I have 7 machines in locations that take in $20 -$35 a month... the others average $12 - $20 a month... The locating Company tries... but tells me this is reality in the biz.. Had I been told that... I might have still gotten into the Biz... but what a lie... Now... Because of this Lie I am throwing out stale product and buying more in smaller portions...
The Vending Business is not bad... But 1-800 Vending IS!!!
Try to get them on the phone after the sale... Better Luck selling the Stale Candy!!!
