My husband and I used this company to ship his vehicle from California to Texas when he was being deployed. We did not have any issues. BUT, we used this company again to ship his truck from Texas back to California when he was returning from deployment, and it was a nightmare.
First, everything seemed fine when I made the initial call to schedule, but after that it was awful. The date was approaching for the vehicle to be picked up and I was calling and would get disconnected, told to call back, or they would call me back. I could never get a straight answer. I would send numerous emails and would never get a response. I never received a phone call of when the vehicle would be picked up.
The 2 day window of pick-up came and went and I never heard from them. Every time I called to try and get an answer I was given the run around, very dishonest. I still don't understand why they just didn't tell me the vehicle was not going to be picked up on time, so I could have planned accordingly. I was flying back to California and the vehicle still had not been picked up. The day I was leaving to fly to California, was the day I stopped letting them give me the run around. Once, I "put my foot down" is when I started getting answers, being nice was getting me nowhere with these people. They asked me to call back, and I told them I couldn't because I would be on a plane and I wanted answers now.
My mother was trying to deal with them and it was very difficult, she finally met the driver for him to pick up the vehicle. They picked up the vehicle about 4-5 days late. The driver of the truck is not the issue; it is 1 shot express that is the problem. It was an absolute nightmare dealing with them. I had so many plans ruined, canceled, and put on hold, because they were not up front with me and were so dishonest about the pick-up and delivery date of my vehicle.
My husband even called while he was deployed to talk to them about everything and he was told we would get some type of discount. I called back when they told me too, and again was getting the run around. I asked how much the discount would be and was told we weren't getting one. I told them that they needed to do something to make this right, because they had completely screwed me over and their customer service was awful. He still said that they were not going to do anything. I was very upset and was raising my voice, but I was not yelling or saying anything hateful. He told me that he did not care, was sick and so if I kept raising my voice he was going to hang up on me. I was furious, but instead of saying something awful, I just repeated, "again your customer service is awful", and I hung up the phone.
This company is so terrible; I do not know how they are still in business. Every person was so hateful and rude on the phone. This company is so dishonest. If they would have told me as soon as they knew the truck driver would be late then all of this could have been avoided. I understand things happen, but I don't understand dishonesty and horrible customer service.
