I want to convey that I am extremely dissatisfied with the way my purchased was handled at 1-Stop Rim Shop. I purchased a rim, that arrived poorly wrapped, with damages, (I was told by a female customer service rep(Connie) that some rims every now and than are not perfect, but new rims are not made damaged and I expected nothing less than a new undamaged rim).
I also have yet to receive a receipt. I was told to send my email address so that the receipt would be sent to me via email, it’s been a week+ and still no receipt. I called every day 5x/day leaving messages, finally getting an answer 3 days later and was told that because the rim is discontinued I couldn’t get any refund which was never mentioned to me during the ordering of the rim. Most companies would try to keep a customer by offering some compensation for any dissatisfaction. Instead I was talked to harshly by the customer service rep. I also ordered lugs and a Mercedes Benz center cap from Brad( another customer service rep), which I didn’t receive and have yet to receive. But when talking to Connie she denied that they were purchased.
To add insult to injury the rim was addressed to the wrong house, i.e. 95th street instead of 98th street, my correct street, also my name was spelled wrong. Luckily the UPS was familiar with my name and address.
Even after all of this Brad told me he would call me before he got off to let me know if the 3rd party from whom he got the rim would give a refund. No call at all. They don't seem to care about repeat customers.
This company didn't even try to negotiate with me a mutual settlement. All I was asking for is some compensation for the trouble given to me in purchasing the rim.
